“The food was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and when we got it, you can tell that they prepared it with fresh ground beef we were impressed. Everything was a little pricey but they justified it by how delicious and fresh the food was I will definitely go back again.“
“One of the best food places in west Hartford. Truly impressed with the chef’s talent. The flatbread was phenomenal- we got the wild mushroom which is drizzled in truffle dressing. An absolute must try, one of the best flatbreads I’ve had. The couscous is a staple and delicious but the prize went to the duck confit and wild mushroom ravioli. So much flavor, and the ingredients compliment each other very well in this dish. The only somewhat down side is that it is a smaller space, so you may require a reservation“
“Even if the food wasn't good, the service is a delight. A young girl seated us and waiting on us and was there for our every need. A lady, presumably the owner or someone as responsible, took our order and was able to make suggestions according to what we knew we liked. She even upsold me a dessert we didn't know we wanted and needed. The food was exactly what we wanted - healthful and flavorful and executed really well. The falafel was the most moist I had ever had and I hate to use the word fresh because of how it gets thrown around ..but everything was fresh and made in house. We're not from Connecticut, but we'll go out of our way to come back if we're coming down the road.“
“Amazing place. I work next door to Sam's and ordered multiple times they have amazing food from desserts to entrees. My go too is always the lamb gyro which I highly recommend. Customer service is always amazing as well from the owner to everyone who operates the back and register. Very polite and “
“Attention all vegetarians: yes yes and yes lol. The food was delicious. So many vegetarian options. I had the falafel gyro and loaded fries. One dish is plenty, but I had to try both. Oh and their tzatziki sauce is out of this world! Best I’ve ever had. This place would be perfect if it had more of a restaurant vibe and less like a fast food set up. But definitely worth a try. We will 100% be going back.“
“Great place to eat family owned and friendly with large portions; food has always been fresh with plenty of selections.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten-free but my wife is not and there are plenty of selections for both of us; they do not have gluten-free bread but I brought my own.“
“A great dining experience, as always! We've eaten at J a half dozen or so times over the years. J is consistently excellent. Whether you're going “classic” with Filet Mignon or being more adventurous with Veal Milanese, you won't be disappointed! My veal was perfectly done, tender, hot, yet crunchy with a wonderfully light arugula side. My partner's Haddock was excellent with perfectly roasted potato wedges. The ambience was lively, busy and a little noisy on this particular evening, Service was efficient and professional. A very nice way to start our evening!“
“Amazing food. Each bite was great, the portion was huge, and prices are good as well. The servers were very patient and answered every question we had.Food was out quick and in time for dinner! The atmosphere was good, the Iftar vibes ?????? Will definitely be back here with the family!“
“These guys have the best gyros and kibbeh around. Not to mention the super tender pieces of lamb in their Mediterranean Bean stew or savory pieces of chicken in their curry. The prices could be twice as much, the brothers running the shop could be absolute jerks, and the food would still be worth it. The fact that neither of those things is true is just icing on top. All the commendations Tangiers receives are well deserved!“
“Six of us went to Adriatik's for dinner 10 days ago. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening. Our hosts were amiable and helpful, the dining room is comfortable and clean (although it was a bit chilly as we were right near the front window), and the food was quite good with some definite stand outs. Look for the Eggplant appetizer and definitely try their Spanikopita - the best I have ever had! We'll be back!“
“My friend and I stumbled upon this culinary delight and were incredibly pleased. The food and service were outstanding - my scallops (and everything else) were cooked perfectly. It is BYOB with a liquor store very conveniently next door. It is a small interior, so definitely recommend making reservations for a large party. We can't wait to return.“
“Did a last minute large order for a family gathering and the food was delicious and the service was so nice! Really appreciate them creating a good meal for us on short notice. It was great to get to grab about the great food we have local to us. Thanks y’all!!Kid-friendliness: It’s amazing to have good food that offer pick-eater options!“
“I came with high expectations after reading it's better than Halal Guys since they are temporarily closed I decided to try a new place. I had the Chicken Over Rice with white sauce. It's decent but not as good as Halal Guys. It's pretty bland but nonetheless it was still a good quick lunch if your around the area or a student near by. Affordable prices for a platter and soda/drink. Respect the business.“
“I have now had 2 post funeral luncheons and 2 volunteer appreciation dinners at Casa Mia and all have been outstanding. The staff and food have been amazing Everyone is friendly and helpful and very accommodating.I will always consider them first for any event that I have.“
“I'm not sure how I've driven by this place a million times without realizing it was here. The food and service here are wonderful, the lamb platter is my go to. It's pricier than some others but the portions are huge so it is well worth it, as is the convenience of having a halal place in town. The lamb gyro is also great. Pizza and burgers are good too, but it's the lamb that keeps me coming back. The garlic knots are also a random thing in their menu that knocks it out of the park, literally the best.“
“First time here and it won't be the last. From the appetizers to dessert everything was delicious. Service was great Bailey was our server Chef and owner both came out to say hello and asked about our meals and both couldn't be more friendly & professional, simply put great food great host = great night out “
“The food is great!!! I ordered the fried falafel for the first time and it was awesome. Thanks to the manager marsel who recommended it. I have a new favorite dishes. If you have not been yet I highly recommend. Great food and great customer service!!“
“My visit to Zohar’s Mediterranean Kitchen was absolutely delightful! Accompanied by two friends, we enjoyed a leisurely lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Upon entering, I was momentarily hesitant due to a faint seafood aroma, given my allergies. However, the staff swiftly addressed my concerns, ensuring a seamless dining experience.Once seated, I relished in a feast of flavors. Every dish exuded freshness and impeccable taste, surpassing my expectations. The attention to detail in each bite was evident, resulting in a culinary journey that left me thoroughly satisfied. Despite my initial reservations, Zohar's Mediterranean kitchen exceeded all expectations, offering a memorable dining experience that I would highly recommend to others. The expresso coffee was Devine as-well!“
