“Excellent fresh food and excellent fast service. The Turkish coffee was perfection, as was the falafel sandwich. I brought home all sorts of groceries and snacks. The overstuffed pistachio baklava was out of this world-best I ever had.“

“I have never seen baklava and kanafa this big at restaurants at this price range.. it’s a bit dangerous for your scale and wallet. Had the lamb meal- I really appreciated the deep flavoring without overwhelming spices. It really felt like a nice home cooked meal! Would love to come back and try all the menus.“

“Pretty nice spot in Downtown Hartford! The service is super quick, and the food is great. I like that they keep the menu simple, and the workers are really friendly and always smiling. The whole place honestly gives me that NYC food spot vibe.

The food quality is amazing, and I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. The mixed platter is especially good. Personally, I love the sauces! The only thing I’d change is the hot sauce I think it could be a little hotter and a bit less sour. Other than that, great spot, great service, and really good food. Definitely worth trying!“

“If I could have given this great restaurant, I would have, the restaurant is beyond beautiful, it gives you a feeling of being in the Mediterranean, exceptional wait staff. He was amazing, helpful, polite and always attending to our table. The food was over the top and very large portions cooked to perfection, desert and turkish coffee was a baked cheese with pistachio topping...I am still full 2 hours later..I feel like I died and went to heaven..great family restaurant or a great romantic date night ..you will be glad you went“

“I'm so glad my boyfriend made me go here. I thought it would be just like any walk in restaurant with mediocre food but I was so wrong! I’m an extremely picky eater and absolutely loved everything we got. This is also the first place I’ve been in a long time that actually had good salmon. They’re homemade dressing and marinate is so unique we went back in to buy a bottle after trying it with the complimentary salad we were given. 10/10 would go again!“

“Their food is so fresh and so delicious. The Baba ghanoush is so smoky with layers of flavor; it was a little lumpy with big chunks of eggplant in the puree which I wasn’t a fan of. But the flavor is so good.
The hummus is so creamy. Their tabouli salad is so fresh and their falafel is amazing. They also have tons of vegan options.

“We used them to cater a private event at our home last weekend. The communication and planning prior to the event was excellent. The chefs were creative with great suggestions to pair with the wine we chose. The day of could not have been better. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. We had 6 tasting-size courses with additional servings available for guests that wanted more of anything. The chefs and servers took great care of our guests with specific dietary needs by adapting individual dishes and seamlessly serving them to the correct guests. My kitchen was left sparkling clean. I highly recommend Carlos and his staff!“

“The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very nice. The seating feels like being in a living room of a home in Middle East, cozy and welcoming. I just think that it would be best if the tables were a little higher and if they turn the TV on or play some music to break the silence because it doesn't feel like you can have private talk when it's dead silence. I suggest something like a soft music may be with a show of Middle East paysage.“

“Best salad/ bowl I’ve ever had in my life. I was hesitant to get the steak because restaurants never give decent quality. There’s always chewy parts gristle or fat and every single piece was lean Tasty steak.

The bowl was filled with so much healthy greens like kale cabbage everything very nutritional tasty and didn’t overdo it on the salad dressing“

“I absolutely love this place never tried it till tonight the meat falls off the bone and the portions size is great this was all only 17 dollars and a size medium in lamb haneeth, worth the money will definitely get from here again!
