Two favorite’s are coconut shrimp app ? and seafood boil combo Reels catch seasoned garlic butter the flavor is great and seafood is fresh not too mention the atmosphere of the Resturant , the waitstaff are very pleasant and seems to enjoy the work they do & knowledgeable on the seafood . “Our vendor for our wedding uses Modern Pastry for their wedding cakes. the tasting was so easy and great. we went with chocolate cake chocolate mousse. Our cake was phenomenal!! not only was it gorgeous and EXACTLY as we wanted..it was so delicious. the process was super easy and painless which is what every bride needs...everyone was extremely friendly. thank you so much!!!! highly recommended!!!”

“We love this restaurant and usually order the bone in ribeye steak. It was, for some reason, under seasoned this time. Caesar salad, truffle fries, and birthday desserts were great! The steak was cooked perfectly, just a little bland.”

“I planned this as a middle point to break up my trip from Jersey to Boston. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a long line of people ready to order before noon. The employees worked hard taking orders and that line cut down quick. Everyone was pleasant and patient while I ordered for my family of four. Cashier was so nice to me and my kids. All of the sandwiches can wrapped with a plate which was incredibly convenient when we eat the sandwiches at the nearby park. This was a great gem to start off what will hopefully be a great trip

I usually get the enchiladas huertenas because I can't decide if the mole, red sauce, or green sauce is better; they are all equally wonderful. So are their tender, flavorful tamales. even their chips & salsa are a cut above. Pickup during the pandemic is fast and painless, which we appreciate.”

So glad I came to the one on Farmington Ave. The worker here was friendly, sweet, personable, polite, professional. We shared upbeat, light conversation as she made my #8 Great Garlic to my liking. The positive experience here made up for the truly negative experience with Bibi at Union Station mere moments prior.If you have a choice between the Subway at Union Station or Farmington Ave, ALWAYD CHOOSE FARMINGTON AVE.Bc of Bibi and her piss poor customer service skills , UNION STATION is TERRIBLE!”

“I came across Semilla cafe this past weekend after a yoga session in Hartford and I’m very glad I did. I snagged a hot Ovaltine with oat milk which was a really nice malted hot chocolate flavor, plus a lemon bar that was very good. While all that is enough to go back I also found a gem in their store side of things where they had a bacon jam. The breakfast sandwiches I have made with that every day since I bought it are amazing and I will definitely be back for more. The decor, local art, cute free library and the overall welcoming feel of the place was great to experience.”

The prices could be twice as much, the brothers running the shop could be absolute jerks, and the food would still be worth it. The fact that neither of those things is true is just icing on top. All the commendations Tangiers receives are well deserved!”

inside the facility; yet at the drive through- you can hear the laughter and positive interaction between employees while getting orders ready. From experience- it makes it a great environment for customers also.

Vegetarian options: Not sure about what level of vegetarian; no meat is always an option on many of the items as well as no dairy- if eggs are a no go then this might not be a place for a vegan.

Dietary restrictions: Unless you have a lot of allergies and have gluten sensitivity then this is always an option. Not sure what gluten free items are on the menu. Once you let the workers know about the allergies- they are very helpful.

Parking: This Dunkin is close to the highway next to a gas station and post office. So even if it’s busy- you can park at either place and walk over.

I also got some baby carrots, and they were so fresh and made an awesome snack. Overall, this is the best Starbucks I've ever been to, and I seriously recommend it.”

It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. Not too much bbq sauce, right amount of cheese and a nice crisp bread. The tater tots were perfectly fried and salted. They were so good we didn't even need ketchup. We will for sure be back.”

“(Note: This review is for the Albany Ave. location) This won't be a popular review. For decades my family would frequent Scott's Bakery. We loved everything that they offered (hardo bread, beef patty, coco bread, plantain tart and so on). When I said we liked EVERYTHING, I mean it. Everything was on point!! Yesterday was my first time (and last time) going into Scott's in about a decade plus. It is clear that management has changed (if not management, something has gone horribly wrong). The shell of the patty was beyond thick and there was little meat in it. The coco bread was beyond disgusting! It was a flavorless clump of undercooked dough. You know how coco bread is supposed to taste. It didn't taste like that at all. It seems as though they've cut corners on their peanut punch which had a gell-like texture. The BEST part of everything that I purchased was the Cola Champagne. As long as they continue to use the same distributor they can't mess that up. Maybe they had a bad day. I won't be spending money to find out.”

I long for the days when the food court was packed with options, and I’m happy to see this place is one of the great food stands that are still going strong at the State House. They serve very fresh salads at generous proportions and have good sandwiches as well. The only critique I’d have is that their lettuce/kale, roasted chicken, and other ingredients are in large chunks and they don’t provide a knife to cut it in smaller pieces. Their flavors are great, but it would be great to have a grilled chicken option in addition to the roasted.”
