“A few comments on the buffet-style university cafeteria:

Quality of the rotating entrees varies from very good to mid at worst throughout the year normally at its worst overall by the middle of each semester.

The bakery's pastries and desserts, as well as the options at the make-your-own smoothie stand, are consistently great.

Breakfast is best from Fridays - Sundays with the quality dipping as the rest of the week goes on.

The pasta bar used to be the best station offered at the university. Each order was freshly cooked on the stove and had long lines. Now they cook all the options in bulk before serving dropping the quality significantly. It's much less of a wait now though.

Quality steak, chicken, and salmon are always offered at the grill which you pay for separately. Burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, fries, and the occasional special are offered as part of the buffet.

Free to-go containers are available by scanning a QR code at the front desk and should be returned within 2 days.

The staff are all great people. Special shout-out to the well oiled machine that is the team at the grill and to the G.O.A.T Cindy at the front desk!

Edit: It helps to be creative with combining different offerings like putting the fruits from by the salad bar, the chocolate by the waffle station, and putting it all on the French toast at breakfast. It's a pretty fun experience finding a new combo you like.“

“The Natural Orange Juice was very fresh and full of flavor. It was noticeable that the oranges were very fresh and the juice was very pure. I also tried the banana shake which was very delicious.

I loved the chicken salad dish, it was a delicious combination of fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked chicken.“

“I went shortly after noon. Nice salad bar, warm sandwiches and other sandwiches made to order. I got a warm Reuben sandwich and a pretty large salad with a bottle of water and it was $10. It's a clean well kept area, no complaints from me“

“I attended a wonderful lecture at the Hilltop Café on organizing and decluttering photos. The presentation was informative and provided many useful resources on how to organize digital pictures, create beautiful photo albums, and reduce photo clutter.

The meal was excellent as well. I enjoyed chicken teriyaki, salad, carrots, potatoes, bread, and a delicious slice of pie. The food was fresh and well prepared.

I highly recommend this venue for guest lectures and special events. There is plenty of parking, ample seating, and golf cart assistance available for those who need help navigating the hill. Overall, it is a welcoming space with great amenities and an excellent atmosphere.“
