“Since a lot of these reviews appear to be old, clarifying 2 things: there are two locations (norfolk & hartford) run by Good Works Entertainment. The Hartford location used to have a bistro but does not any longer - they have chips and candy. The highly regarded Bears smoke house is across the street as is the convention center and hotel (that ay have a special rate if you ask). hartford location has nearby street and paid parking unaffiliated with the venue. Both feature a range of arttists so check one or both out with friends and family.“

“I’ve known these people for over a decade. my father and I always came here since it was down the street from us. He’d get beef fried rice well done with some ribs on the side, then I would get chicken fried rice with 4 chicken wings. That was our go to orders and they always delivered with great food. We’ve known the owners for years and they are one of the nicest people in the area. I got to know them all these years to the point where one of their sons became a freshman when I was a senior in Highschool and we are boys to this day. This is a great place with great people five ⭐.“

We came here for the lunch buffet, and there was a lot of food, so we were definitely full by the end of our meal. The food was definitely prepared really well, and there was a wide variety of options: different rices, veggies, grilled meats, and an extra grill behind the counter. I wish that the food had been labeled, though, so we'd know what we were taking (especially helpful for the meat). “Server was fabulous, very cordial. Food options were great and my Low Country Shrimp and Grits were the best! I am taking to catfish fingers, green beans and collard greens back to the hotel for dinner! It is Sunday brunch and my 4 stars is only because the DJ music was really too loud for lunch time. The music selection was fine, just so loud it made conversation pretty futile. Other than that, I will definitely come back when staying here for work.“
