“Tired of the never-ending onslaught of hazy IPAs? Looking for a real wide variety of beers that all have great flavor? This is the place. Maibock, Helles Lager, Pils, Czech Amber, plus more. They even have beers on a side pour (iykyk).
Plus the vibe is chill. The owners and bartenders are super friendly (shout out to Dylan who is the best). The building is historic. And they support the local community with events.
Parking is simple with a lot across the street. They have snacks but you can bring your own food (grab some to go from Parkville). Dog friendly. Kids are welcome but this isn't the kind of place you're going to find a family birthday party for a toddler (thank god).
This is definitely the kind of brewery for beer lovers.“

“This coffee shop is so much more than a place to grab a drink. It is like a community living room. Warm, creative, and welcoming in the most genuine way. There are art supplies to sit and create, free books to borrow, and games to play. It’s a place that invites you to slow down, connect, and stay awhile. The cold brew I had today was absolutely amazing…..smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. Even more meaningful was the experience with the owner. Her kindness, authenticity, and passion shine through in every detail of this space. You can feel how much heart has gone into building something that truly serves the community. I’m so grateful to my son and his girlfriend for encouraging us to stop in after a UConn game, what a gift that recommendation was. Places like this are rare, and they matter. If you love small businesses, creativity, connection, and spaces that bring people together, please show up and support this one. Bring a friend. Stay for a while. Make it part of your routine. Convenient to the XL Center, Yard Goats, downtown, and right off the highway. Closed Mondays, open all other days — plan your visit and don’t miss it. Support this local gem. “Very friendly and what a great couple to host we hired them for our town football team as a pregame treat and their ice cream was phenomenal!!!! Highly recommend, looking forward to booking for my personal use in the near future. Ice cream is my weakness and they definitely pass the test .10/10“

“Hundreds of 5 star reviews and it really is true, this place is five stars in everything they do. Quality, price, friendliness you name it. 20 people were lined up to order when I came in and it moved quick. I also saw several regular customers have parts of their order put on the house. Goes to show how great this place is.“

“Honestly a GEM of a restaurant and a place that I will return going as long as they are open. Food was superb and a great menu , it will be tough for parking I think because it is in downtown Hartford. But hell I dont care because the food is that good, so the plan is to order food to eat inside and order to take out for next day, great job guys, coming back soon!!!!“

“Love this restaurant. Dishes are absolutely delicious. Robert and Bella are welcoming and wonderful going above and beyond in making sure you have a delightful dining experience. Both are also so helpful with dish recommendations and our meals came very quickly. They are so friendly and personable and provide exceptional service. We can’t wait to dine there with them, again. “Cozy atmostphere with nice outdoor seating. I really enjoy the way they cook eggs , always perfect balance in their sandwhiches. The coffee was really tasty. Wish there was more places like this around Hartford support local and there will be! ✌️“

“I’ve known these people for over a decade. my father and I always came here since it was down the street from us. He’d get beef fried rice well done with some ribs on the side, then I would get chicken fried rice with 4 chicken wings. That was our go to orders and they always delivered with great food. We’ve known the owners for years and they are one of the nicest people in the area. I got to know them all these years to the point where one of their sons became a freshman when I was a senior in Highschool and we are boys to this day. This is a great place with great people five ⭐.“

“My son loves this place. Usually he's a big Mac kid but I was lazy and placed a order for the double cheese burger it was delivered fresh and hot. The burger was huge he was like this burger is big. Needless to say he don't ask for Big Macs no more he asks for the big burger. I went in person and placed a order the workers were kind and food did not disappoint. This is our new burger place.“
