We finished with Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée which was well balanced sweet and flavor tasty. We talked with others at the bar about their dishes and those got good reviews too. “When I asked at work where I should take my family for some authentic Pho, I was told to hit MECHA. we went today and it was superb! The staff were excellent and everything we got was top tier. The edamame, and mushroom dumplings were awesome appetizers and the Pho was awesome. I had the Pho King with the recommended greens and Thai chilis and it was the best lunch I've had in a long time. The limeade was soooo good. I can't wait to go back!”

“I’m a frequent guest at the Chopt in Bishop’s Corner, and it has become one of those places that is genuinely worth the drive from Southington. I brought my mom there recently for her first visit, and she was more than satisfied too.

The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms, and I have never had trouble finding a place to sit. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and they keep the line moving without making the whole thing feel rushed. Online orders have also been ready promptly in my experience. If you are new to Chopt or not quite sure how the ordering process works, the staff is happy to walk you through it or explain the different options without making you feel like you should already know what you’re doing.

The salads are huge, the food is consistently good, and it is a healthier option than most places in the fast-casual category. This is coming from someone who never really understood the point of salad, let alone salad as an actual meal. Chopt changed that for me.

The drink selection is another plus. Instead of the usual wall of sodas, they offer iced teas, lemonades, and other drinks that tend to be on the lighter side, often with some less-common flavors. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Squeeze Chiller.

My mom enjoyed her first visit. Chopt has become a regular stop for me because the food is dependable, the portions are substantial, the place is clean, and the service is consistently pleasant and efficient.”

“I absolutely LOVE Crumbl Cookie! 🍪 Every time I go, I already know I’m going to leave happy. My favorites are definitely the Tres Leches, Dubai Cookie, and Lucky Charm Cookie. The Tres Leches is so sweet and creamy, ANYTHING dubai is sooo good, and the Lucky Charm Cookie is perfect if you love something sweet and fun. I honestly haven’t had a cookie from Crumbl that I didn’t like! 💕🍪”

“I went in this morning for a pound of medium roast decaf and a quick espresso. They have an excellent interior that was nice to relax in for a few minutes before rushing off. The staff member was also super friendly. Great neighborhood too. They were carrying a limited edition run of a anaerobic process light roast from Rwanda, so I bought a bag out of curiosity. This is currently the best coffee I have ever brewed. It tastes sweet and like apples! I am really glad that they were carrying this today!”

“I regularly go to Rita’s, but I was genuinely impressed by the excellent service provided by Johnny and Mila today. They were both so kind, welcoming, and especially patient. They let me try different flavors and made sure I was happy with what I ended up getting. I was having a pretty bad day, and their kindness honestly made it so much better. It was such a simple interaction, but they really went above and beyond to make my experience a pleasant one. Rita’s is great, and employees like Johnny and Mila are a big part of what makes it such a nice place to go. I’ll definitely be back!”

Not only was the food OUTSTANDING, but the price SHOCKED me at how low it was. I guess the lunch menu prices is reduced. I will be doing this again, frequently. I've eaten there for dinner several times per year for years and never regretted it, but this blew me away, both the quality and price. Let's be sure to keep them in business with take-out orders!”

I'm a big critic when it comes to Red Velvet because it's my favorite cake, this one was amazing from the soft cake to the cream cheese frosting that was light and melted in my mouth 🤤 with each bite. NOW the Chocolate Caramel Delux. We always get the shrimp lo (perfect every time), general tso’s chicken (crispy), and crab rangoon (just fine). It’s classic American Chinese food and consistently well cooked. The General Tso’s chicken most recently had great spice, too, which we appreciated. Everything is a good portion size.”

We tried the pancake roll which had beef & vegetables inside. OH MY GOODNESS! I could literally eat that every day for the rest of my life! I'm totally serious. I'm not sure why they have only a 4.0, which is a good score. Honestly? SONG is deserving of at least a 4.6 but I'm giving them a 4.8. our waiter was a sweetie, polite & attentive. it wasn't crowded, actually none of the restaurants were super crowded. we were there around 630pm. so maybe it was a bit early. The atmosphere was welcoming & comfortable. This was my 2nd time there & I'll definitely be going back. 4.8! ❤️”

“I waited almost 2 hours and was disappointed when my pizza arrived partially stuck to the box. It's a busy Friday night for a new business and things must be hectic. Mistakes happen, but of course not being able to eat half my pie is unacceptable.

The kitchen manager, Steven, handled the situation as well as I could have asked for. He admitted fault, offered to make it right on the spot, heard me out, and we reached a resolution.

The pizza is phenomenal. I'm happy to have them in the neighborhood and look forward to ordering again soon and often.”

Bartenders try their best to get to you when its busy and the bouncers are very reasonable and make sure you're taken care of when things go wrong with other patrons. Come a bit earlier if you dont want to wait in line on the weekends. The owner is present and makes sure everyone is having a good time and to kick out any of the problematic people (it can happen). No comment on the food but the pizza is from another establishment in west hartford so its probably pretty good. 5/5, would recommend it to all my friends. Defintely one of the best bars in the hartford area.”
