Four friends enjoyed a great dining experience at Portobello West Hartford. The manager and staff were very welcoming, and we found the restaurant comfortable and quiet enough for conversation. Drinks, salads and entrees were all good. Generous portions. Recommend the Veal Portobello, clams, lasagna -- delicious and attractively presented.
I rarely write a review, primarily because most restaurants in the greater Hartford area are non memorable. But I ate in a very understated Portobello Pizza last night and I can’t wait to go back. The pizza reference is totally misleading since there is no pizza!!?? The owner /chef is absolutely delightful and what a talent.
