“My wife and I had brunch here recently. The interior and atmosphere was amazing complete with cool photos, a bull's head decoration, and great music! The chorizo and ham with cheese was great, and I loved the perfect olive oil pancakes, and the desserts were soooo good, my wife loved the lava cake and I enjoyed the burnt cheesecake! I would definitely rate this place 10/10! If you can't make it to Barcelona, at least try this awesome authentic Spanish dining and bar experience!“
“It was paella day!!!!! 1/2 off paella 3/28/24! It was our first time here and we weren't disappointed! I thought for sure the place would be packed but it was nice and cozy. They have the prix fix menu for $29 and I think it's a good deal. They change their menu items monthly it seasonally we were told. We proceeded to get that plus two paellas So you get one tapa for the table: choice of pan con tomate or pimientos de padrón (shishito peppers) for the 1sr course. We selected the pan con tomate. The bread was nice and crispy. Tomato rub was perfect. 2nd course selec 2 per person (there were only two of us) we ordered: -Croquetas de setas (creamy mushroom croquettes) this was 3/5 for me. -patatas bravas (crispy potato) 5/5 I want more -albóndigas (beef and pork meatballs) - 1/5 it was pretty sour for me. The texture was nice but I didn't love it. -a steak dish with green sauce (forgot what it's called) but it was 100000 We also ordered two paellas Paella de mariscos 5/5 Fideuá negra - I didn't read this carefully but it's noodles not rice. Pretty freaky bec it' looks like it's moving but it was pretty good when I had it for left overs. 4/5 For dessert , you can select 2 from prix fix . We had one of each . Churro and olive lemon cake. We got a free churro from paella day but it was not the best. The olive oil lemon cake was pretty good. The service was superb I must say. Everyone was helpful and attentive. The sangrias were ok. We got one with rum and one with tequila. Probably why lol. Should have gotten a classic. Overall I can't wait to go back!!!!!“
“I have been a faithful Tapas customer since their West Hartford/Elmwood location. Food is delicious and always so fresh. Can't speak about the desserts other than the baklava, which is also always delicious. The only downside is the takeout only option.“
“I attended a baby shower but poked my head in the other room. Very casual atmosphere which I personally enjoy. The food was good. We enjoyed chicken, vegetable mixture, roasted potatoes , seafood risotto, pasta alla vodka sauce and salad/bread. The service was very attentive and friendly. I would go back there again!“
“Stopped in for quick take after a long day at work. Got two burritos bowls. Did make your own version. Love that you can customize. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The marinated red onions was made the whole thing amazing. The flavor combo was right on spot. Just enough and healthy with it being boring or too much. The place is a good spot to hang out work as well. Parking is limited in the front so park in garage or block over.“
“Very great place in town for a quick takeout. Orders are usually ready within 5 to 10 minutes, which is very convenient to me. Food is good, we don’t go there very often, we only use this place when we’re super lazy and don’t feel like cooking.“
“One of my favorite places to grab takeout (up there with Goldburgers, who is only walking distance from here now!) I have tried a number of things, all are great but the rice bowls and / or the veggie quesadilla are my go tos, and the bowls reheat wonderfully the next day too. That said I am not sure you can go wrong. It's mostly just a take out counter and a few small tables, but the service is always prompt, kind, correct, and most importantly, so good.Vegetarian options: They will swap out the protein for chick peas or other alternatives, and if vegan they will modify as well.Dietary restrictions: They are very accomodating to requests to change out some ingredients and offer the ability to subsititue up to two options as part of the cost.“
“Absolutely lovely and cozy place with outstanding happy hour food and drink. The service (thanks to Tate) was prompt and friendly and there was live music that didn't burst out eardrums. We loved the horseshoe shaped bar with the fireplace hearth as the backdrop. Our new favorite watering hole! Great mixed drinks too“
“Great experience for the 1st time going to sparrow pizza Bar had some mozzarella sticks personalized pizza with pepperoni. Both things were excellent love it love. The pizza thin crust excellent taste Mozzarella sticks were out of this world, And the meatballs were excellent also. The customer service was Excellent.
