Probably the most casual place in west Hartford center, definitely fills a need
Pizza slice was delicious. Gnocchi was delicious. Smash burger was amazing.
The Vodka Pepperoni Basil Burrata pizza was excellent.

The Brownstone is a new restaurant in West Hartford with a good vibe. The pizza is phenomenal, with incredible flavor in every way. The crust is delicious, and the Margherita, Franklin ave, and vodka pepperoni are mentioned. The fare is pretty basic, and both the burger and the grilled chicken added to the BLT were a bit on the dry side. The pizza is a solid option with a good portion for the price, though it may not compare favorably with nearby options. The staff is friendly, attentive, and flexible for seating arrangements. On a busy Friday night, a pizza arrived partially stuck to the box, but the kitchen manager handled the situation well by admitting fault and offering to make it right. The place is open late, serving food until 2am, and the happy hour deals look generous with a great pub-tavern atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you just want pizza and the vibes.
