With two working professionals, we were finding that we just did not have enough time to meal plan, grocery shop, cook and clean 7 days a week. “Nice little place right behind Whole Foods in West Hartford. There are plenty of parking spots and the ambiance inside gives a Mexican local place, the theme is day of the dead hence you will see all images and decor in that fashion. We went there early during the day so there was not many patrons dining. The service was quick and the cashier is very friendly. You have to just pay for your food at the counter and the goods gets brought to your table. The food tasted so good we have tried the carne asada burrito bowl with veggies instead of rice. I would recommend trying out the bowls. I had to give a 4 star because the table we weee sitting on was sticky and may not have been cleaned thoroughly. I recommend the restaurant owner to keep the tables clean. Will go back again to try out their tacos. Good find in West Hartford“
“Food is fresh and made from scratch. The owners are a family of amazingly hard workers, friendly and just great overall. Chicken soup is the best esp when you have a cold. Lola Bread is omg so good! Idk who thought of using feta vs mozz but it’s the best idea! Prices are better than others near them too. Chicken wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. “I've been here a couple of times now and both times were great. The service was quick, friendly, and fast. The food came out looking and tatsing delicious. I've only dined outside on their spacious patio because the weather was great. They had the heater blasting which I requested to to be turned down because it was burning my head, other patrons agreed.I started off with a Saturday fun day glass of their Green Mind Avocado Margarita, yes, you read that right; avocado mixed into a margarita, very interesting but it worked. The drink was on the smaller side for $13 and change but it was good and I could taste the slight creaminess of the avocado. They had a good sized cocktail menu and a variety of craft beers.On this most recent visit, I had the Korean BBQ burger. OMG, juicy and flavorful; it had gochujang mayo, kimchi, onion straws, and Korean BBQ sauce. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I wished there were more pickled cucumber slices because those were BANGIN'. “This is my #2 coffee spot in CT. You can't go wrong with HBC on Farmington. Get the Eggwich. It's worth it. Parking is tricky but don't let that stop you.Oh and wait the 5 minutes for a pour over coffee. “5/5 on taste and looks this was really good!!! Things that I think can improve would be adding drinks like a milk choice. I think having food products you need drinks. And also the forks are really cheap and when the cakes are cold the fork given bends. I think this can be changed and doesn't change that the taste is amazing“
