Popover Bistro & Bakery is a delightful and adorable place for a great breakfast or brunch, known for its delicious food and creative menu. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a bright and appealing dining room, though the space can be small and intimate. It is a popular spot that can get very busy and a little loud, which is a sign of its success. The service is consistently wonderful, attentive, refreshingly friendly, and kind, with staff going out of their way to ensure a satisfying visit.
The food receives high praise, with everything ordered described as good, very good, solid, or incredible. Standout items include the popovers, which are fluffy, buttery, and addictive, especially with honey butter. Other highlights are the lemon ricotta pancakes, the shakshuka, the avocado toast, the chicken sandwich, the Rueben, and the chicken-and-waffles. The restaurant offers a lot of breakfast options, huge portions, and so many Gluten Free choices. Beverages like the perfect iced coffee, special coffee selections, banana chai latte, and mimosas are also noted. While parking in the lot can be somewhat limited, the experience is highly recommended.
