Went with friends last night and had the best time. met the owner, super nice guy. we live a couple blocks away, so plan on making this our regular hangout spot.
We just went for the first time last night. Great vibe, excellent drinks, and reasonably priced food that was tasty. This is a great addition to the area. Check it out!
The Upstate Lounge is easily one of the most exciting new spots to hit Hartford / West Hartford in a long time. The vibe walks this perfect line between fresh and nostalgic, like a brand new bar that somehow already feels like it’s been your favorite neighborhood hang for years.

The food is outstanding, with the most authentic Buffalo style chicken wings that even a Rochester native greatly approved of, and the beef on weck is great. A delicious smashburger and margaritas are also highlights, and the tots are some of the best. The service is outstanding and equally matched the food, with a super welcoming and friendly staff. The vibe is great, the bar is always popping, and the menu features lots of great specials. The owner is clearly passionate about the place. With onsite parking as a huge bonus, this establishment delivers terrific food, service, and atmosphere.
