Tuesday 2:00 pm and I was getting hungry. I wasn't in the mood for a dinner, but not craving a salad either. I took a stroll around this part of Rocky Hill and saw this deli from across the street from where I was walking. Looked up some reviews on Yelp and was not thrilled with what I read. To compare the Whole Deli to a Subway that is down the street is insane. I had to check it out. Nice clean restaurant...very small. Great food. Gluten free bread was good. Staff very kind. Super excited stopped while passing through on long trip. Kids enjoyed the toys that were out. Right next to gas station and Dunkin, right off highway- made it extra convenient.

My husband and I were hungry and wanted to get a sandwich to split to tide us over until dinner. We are New Yorkers and in Rocky Hill Connecticut to visit family. We saw the small sandwich shop and went in, the staff accommodated us despite they were getting ready to close. The roast beef and havarti cheese sandwich with horseradish sauce was delicious ?...
