“I want to start the review by saying that I do have a background in culinary being an executive chef for many years and now teaching culinary.My wife and I decided to try this place for dinner and we're not disappointed. In fact, we had a great experience!I want to also say that everything there is made in house, using quality products, including the rolls for the sandwiches. My wife and I split a rigatoni Bolognese to start. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the meat sauce was authentic and delicious. Next we had a meatball calzone with ricotta cheese and mozzarella. The dough was so good as I was cutting pieces with the meatball and cheese making like little sandwiches, I can honestly say it was great! We also ordered a pizza which is made thin crust nice bubbles coming out of the oven, beautifully brown on the bottom crispy crust. The tomato sauce and cheese of a high-quality as well as the other toppings. I would rate this pizza, an 8.8 out of 10. Leaving room for the pizza meccas In New Haven. If you don't want to drive an hour, I recommend you try the pizza here! I had to try a half an order of shrimp scampi, the shrimp were done perfectly not overcooked, linguini was al dente, and the sauce is about as good as I've ever had, capers, sliced fresh garlic, lemon. I also ordered an Italian cold cut grinder to go with plenty of mortadella, capicola, salami, and pepperoni reminiscent of Franklin giant grinder in the south end of Hartford. I planned on reviewing the restaurant so we also have lunch tomorrow! It's a gem in Cromwell that shouldn't be missed!”

“One of my favorite places to eat of all time. Isiah who works there is a super nice dude everytime I go in. The crew is respectful and makes the food quick. I recommend stopping in some time. Steak number 9 is my favorite.”

“How is it possible? This place can serve me a wonderful chicken piccata dinner with salad and bread for $21 and a glass of house wine for six dollars? Excellent food service and atmosphere. “Ordered doordash so can't speak to atmosphere but the chicken cutlet sandwich they made me was worth writing this review for. So worth the money in size, quality, and value. They were out of the bread I ordered, so they made me a panini. It was outrageously good. I've never had a bad sandwich or meal from this place.”

“A number of people have raved about Mitchell's on Main. I have eaten at a Mitchell's before, but not this one. I have also eaten in the building housing this Mitchell's when it was a different breakfast place. Mitchell's is not fancy and offers reasonably priced breakfast options. We had a short wait for a table for 5 people on a Saturday morning. They managed the line well and service was pretty efficient once we were seated. I ordered a Sausage Egg & Cheese on an everything bagel. It was decent. The sausage was in link form, which is not ideal for a bagel sandwich. The cheese could have been a bit more melted. Nothing really stood out positive or negative otherwise. I also ordered a side of corn beef hash. It was a fairly standard version. It didn't pop for me, but it was fine. My son ordered a chili omelette with cheese and some veggies. He was thrilled with it. I had a couple bites and it was definitely the best thing I tasted that morning. The chili was sweet. Mitchell's is a fair breakfast spot, and when you factor in price, it certainly could be an appealing option for some people. I prefer other breakfast options within my driving radius. 3.5 Stars”

“Great HH spot! Love it here, Food is reliably great, service is friendly and a great atmosphere, they did a nice job renovating the space. We are local and love to come here on a Friday for happy hour, everyone is so nice and welcoming.”

“Hope is amazing to deal with. Ordering our cake was an easy process. The 3-tier cake for my 6 year old granddaughter was a spotlight at her party. It was beautiful just like we envisioned. we had tons of compliments that it was not only beautiful, it was delicious as well.”

“I have never had a bad time or meal while visiting Digger's. I also have enjoyed many birthday parties and other events . They have a semi private banquet room and a large menu to order from when having parties big or small .Vegetarian options: They have salad fries onion rings giant pretzels and if person eats cheese, nachos mozzarella sticks +.Kid-friendliness: When the kitchen is open, children accompanied by parents are welcomed for great bar fare. There is an additional back room with plenty of tables and an outdoor area with ample seating .Parking: There is a large parking lot.When the place is jamming, there's additional parking on the north side of the building and across the street in a strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Large doors at entrance spacious room and handicap bathroomsDietary restrictions: They will try to accommodate everyone's needs if possible.”

“I had such a wonderful night, our waiter was great and made the experience so memorable and everything was delicious.Got a Thai iced tea (like 4 of them and took the rest home haha), chicken tempura and pork gyoza dumplings for appetizers, and then got mushroom soup, shrimp tempura roll, and other things as well that were spectacular.Just go here. Or better yet, get it delivered!!!!!!YOUR STOMACH WILL THANK ME?”
