“My job is in the same plaza as Dairy Queen, so I come here a lot during my breaks.The employees are always really nice (especially the manager!) and the place is clean! The food isn’t the best, after all it’s fast food, but it’s filling. I love their milkshakes though, the white mocha shake is so good!“

“We have been going for many years and even after a new owner to took over . The services have been always great . My one recommendation and it’s my favorite and had about it many years ago is to carry coconut flavored .. but other then that it’s continues to be a very busy hot spot and a nice hang out in the back . “Top 5 on our list of favorite CT locations, and thankfully close by! High quality ice cream, family owned, and plenty of flavors for everyone. Plus if you're GF, dairy free, or vegan there is something for everyone! Even GF cones, which are much appreciated, are available on site. I do miss the full restaurant from years past. And the location is not desirable being on the busy Berlin Tpke. They do have some picnic tables out back, but still wish they were downtown in a more family-friendly area (of course, they were here before it got so big in the area!). Also cash only, so don't forget to bring! (They do have an ATM) While the ice cream is incredible and so worth it, prices are getting a little high compared to other farm-fresh places that are not cash-only (Almost $6 for a small 1 scoop cone/dish, if that's important to you). Better value to get the 2 scoops+ when you are hungrier or can take some home. They also have a great value "flight" of scoops you can share. Highly recommend!“

The ice-cream was delicious and the driver (unfortunately forgot her name, very sweet blonde woman) did a great job keeping up with the orders. The pricing was very fair and the flavors were very unique, people loved the different options! The staff were also super accommodating to our last minute attendee changes. “I'm back in CT and love love love ice cream. Woke up craving some so I found this spot in Wethersfield. I had Blackraspberry Oreo with Campfire Smores it was deliciousssss ???. The place was more steady than busy thanks to the staff. They were quick and attentive & at the same time, still friendly.Now, back to the ice cream...I was going to get Salty Caramel, but "discovered" something called "Peanut Butter Chip Swirl" - Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Chunks and a peanut butter ripple. She was right - it is so sweet (I ate it off the cob w/out boiling); that's how good it is. Green tomatoes were also great! They have a nice general store too. Will be back!“

“One of my favorite places to go in the summer is Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard. This place sells soft serve custard, Italian ice, and specialty creations. Be sure to sample a few flavors because some of their flavors may shock you. I have never seen such a large variety of Ice flavors. They serve everything: cotton candy, strawberry colada and unicorn just to name a few of the more surprising flavors! They also have fast service and allow you to try different flavors. My favorite item to order is the gelati: layers of Italian ice and custard. My favorite to mix are mango Italian ice and vanilla custard. However, you're also able to order a cup of just Italian ice or a cup of just custard. You may want to ask for extra containers so that it's easy to take your dessert home or to a cute location to enjoy!“
“We went the other day and the blizzards were delicious. Two complaints we have are the prices of the ice cream and they stopped selling chocolate sprinkles! The service is pretty good but the parking is not ideal. Tight spaces and the walking traffic could be potentially dangerous. We love the various varieties of blizzards such as mint oreo, brownie and snickers. With that said, if you're around the Berlin Turnpike and you want some decent ice cream, this is the place to go.“

“Talk about a fantastic hot dog. This 1950s style diner is famous for their 10 inch hot dogs for good reason. The hot dog itself has tons of flavor and can be served with numerous toppings. I recommend adding cheese which they melt between the bun and the hot dog so it's almost like it's wrapped in grilled cheese! The parking lot has picnic tables for the summer time and the staff is friendly. It is cash only but there is an atm inside!“
“I personally enjoy me some Mooyah. The burgers and fries are always delicious. Definitely get a shake, they are nice and thick. Staff is always super friendly and they even bring your food out to the table if you dine in. I recommend give it a try!“

“I love this place, or actually I did. Yesterday my friends and I decided to head out for some celebratory boba at our favorite place, which is here. When we got in they said that they needed an hour to prepare the tapioca pearls so we took some of the kids that were with us to get them rolled ice cream from the place next door. We headed back to here and ordered our usual drinks and waited patiently, which wasn't long because they are really quick with orders and we appreciate that. However, one of our friends ordered a drink and it came in a bit messed up. My friend wasn't happy and let the people know. They simply said just mix it, which my friend did. When she asked if they can fix it, they said no. So she asked for a refund and they refused. My friend was devastated.EDIT- Thanks for the reply, just to let you know, we do love your small business a ton and have recommended it to almost all our other friends. That one event was sad, however we still enjoy the place.“

“There were no signs that this was a drive thru only spot. The seating area was exposed to Rte 15 and loud noises of traffic, so it is not ideal to sit and enjoy onsite. Service was as expected for a bunch of teens in the summer. They were polite and courteous and expeditious. The ice cream was delicious and prepared exactly as I expected.“
“Delicious homemade ice cream! I tried dark chocolate raspberry and mint chocolate chip both were very rich in flavor. They also have dairy free and Italian ice. Pricing overall was fairly standard. Staff was friendly. Both me and my friend enjoyed our ice cream. I came in the winter I can only imagine what this place would be like in the summer. I will definitely be back here.
