food was amazing and big portions. waitress was nice and did not interupt every five mins...i have been going to the one i middletown over 20 yrs. do yourself a favor and try this place out. going back for lunch today
We ate here on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was packed. We had Liliana as a waitress. Our complete meal was absolutely delicious. Prices were very fair. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Manager is very nice too!
Sadly, I was there last night and ordered the linguine and white clam sauce. I asked for pappardelle pasta. The dish came out with three little little neck clams a watered down clam sauce. Pasta was so over cooked. Took two bites of it. It was literally disgusting. The bartenders both know me, they both came over and asked how it was. I told them it wasn't good. Cafe Fiore Cromwell offers a beautiful venue with a clean atmosphere and good parking, a welcome change from the Middletown location. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and outstanding, with a very nice manager. The food is fantastic, plentiful, and absolutely delicious, with big portions. Meals include a salad. Specific dishes praised include GF pasta and GF chicken with cheese and sauce for gluten-free diners, portobello mushroom appetizer, Veal and Shrimp with eggplant and vodka sauce, and Veal Fiore with fresh tomatoes. Other favorites are veal parmesan, sole, ravioli, and salmon. For dessert, the Gelato truffle balls and Tartufo were excellent. The restaurant was packed on Valentine’s Day and busy on a Saturday night, yet the service remained phenomenal. It is a nice place to take a date with a quiet atmosphere, and it is highly recommended for celebrations like a First Communion or a Mom's birthday.
