“I took my son here for a bday breakfast celebration and the owner was so friendly he even had the kitchen make a pancake stake for a cake with candle and everything. It made him feel special and it was a nice experience. The food was fresh and served quickly. “My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.”

“Sal worked with us for my grandsons baptism party. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Lemon chicken was amazing. Roasted vegetables with hot peppers, WOW! Roasted potatoes, fantastic! Portions are more than expected. Sal is wonderful to work with and you will not be disappointed with the food”

“I’m not a review writer, but felt compelled to review this restaurant. The food is delicious. The service by the owner was beyond what I’ve experienced. I’m copying the decor in the bathroom in my own house. It was so well done! I’m a picky coffee drinker and would stop back in just for the delicious coffee in the beautiful mugs.I’m anaphylaxis reaction allergic to sesame. A main ingredient of all vegan restaurants. A fact which makes me nervous to dine in any restaurant with more than one sesame dish on the menu. The owner (also our server) clearly understood what an allergy meant and its import. She was honest to tell me that my options were limited because of their long time and ubiquitous use of sesame. I ordered the first item that caught my eye anyway, which was a strawberry salad. She told me that she used all fresh ingredients that she pulled from the refrigerator to ensure that nothing that was on my plate even ever had the chance to touch anything Sesame. My friend, who has eaten here before assured me all of the menu items are delicious, but this experience allowed me to enjoy my delicious salad without fear a first in a long while. Anyone who loves delicious food in an atmosphere you can Immediately identify as home, needs to go to Arles and Boggs.Vegetarian options: All vegan.Dietary restrictions: Owner knows and appreciates dietary restrictions. Go, you will eat delicious food without worry.Parking: Large public parking lot across the street.”

“I was pleasantly surprised to find such a spot for light snacking and entertainment on the Middletown strip. I believe Back Again Cafe proves itself to be a great central hub location to meet friends, dates, and family for great snacks, drinks, and games! My friends and I like to meet to play MTG. Friendly and helpful staff, and a terrific space with high ceilings and large windows for people watching.”

“I go here to get milkshakes before picking up my daughter at daycare. It makes it a bit more fun as the milkshakes take longer to drink than the regular drinks.I wait for the drinks on a chair that looks like a giant paperclip, a key part of the experience as you wonder how that got there. Maybe one day I'll even buy some giant paperclip chairs for the house to confuse guests.”

“Picked up lunch today and brought it home. Excellent food! The goobkwr was outstanding and hubby loves the jalapeno popper dog. Also got Mac & cheese and the baked beans which I highly recommend and of course the salty balls. Had to also get the T-shirt too. Best food in the area. Makes me miss summer cookouts and was a nice break for all the holiday craziness and foods.”

“Our appetizer and dinners were excellent. The Calamaris was fresh, tender and served hot. The portions were above average. My husband loved his Eggplant Parmesan. My chicken Francais was tender and the noodles were actually cooked. All our food was hot when served which was a priority with me. Our waiter was personable and attentive without hovering. We found the prices on par with other restaurants but with better quality of food. We would definitely recommend them and eat there again.Vegetarian options: There were several pasta dishes without meat and veggies oriented”
