“I just read a story about these people went to eat and witness something was so totally wrong . A trooper came into this restaurant and was refused service. All these was based on the owners feelings about the law enforcement. These men and women put thier life’s on the line to protect everyone including you Mr. Owner. This puts a bad taste in my mouth about the owner , not the restaurant. This owner has good people working for him and they do make good food. However I will never go to this restaurant ever again. All this happened two hours after the Bristol’s policeman was killed on duty.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. I had no idea. All their potato dishes are all delicious, including the sweet potato fries. Their home-made potato chips are the best I’ve ever had. Their medium-sliced onion rings are perfection. There’s lots of large windows so every seat in the house has a good view of the beautiful hills surrounding Indian Springs Golf Course. There’s a fire table on the deck that sits 4. For a perfect day out: Go for a hike at Wadsworth Falls Park, then stop by here for a hearty meal and some warm cookies. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Have not been there in 30 years several owners ago. My wife and I went on Sunday and had a great lunch. She had the calzone and I had a gyro. Best gyro I have had in a very long time. Owner and I believe his sons in kitchen very friendly and talked for a bit about recipes and food. Will be going back and recommending it highly. The new owners have hit this one out of the park.”

“Dinner with friends last night. My first visit, their second. Adequate parking, attractive dining room, attentive and friendly server. My friends both had the Italian chopped salad with chicken and liked it very much. I had the eggplant rollatini with ricotta and spinach, and pasta with vodka sauce, and my husband had the chicken parmesan. Both of those entrees were OK, but nothing to rave about. The bread served with the meal was also just OK. If I were picking an Italian restaurant in Middletown just based on the food, I much prefer Fiore on Main Street with its fabulous garlic rolls- and salads that come with the meals. But Red Fox Amore did have the advantage of easy access to continuing on to New Haven, where we were heading later in the evening.”

“I don’t know what the bad reviews are about . Girl in drive through was listening , was polite and even asked if we wanted a tray. No other Dunkin has ever asked. Coffee taste good. Hash browns are perfect. Other places taste gross or burnt. I recommend the $6 deal with croissant 🥐 . 9 cream , 9 sugar on coffee and ketchup & crushed red pepper on your croissant. I add mine 😆 thanks guys !!! Appreciate it. Oh and don’t forget to download Dunkin’ app and scan app before paying . That’s how you get points”

“This place is amazing in all regards, it is our go-to dining out spot of choice. As others have noted, the birria is absolutely incredible. The detail that brings my family in consistently is that it is a standard meat you can order any of their many offerings with. Kudos for that idea ! Note: They are no longer at 50 Rapallo avenue. They moved right around the corner to a more visible location that will get more foot traffic passing by, I hope it works out well for them. I believe the attached map has the new location correctly shown, the posted address has not been updated. As of mid April 2026, they were closed to renovate the new location, I was told their projected re-opening was going to be in early - mid May. Good idea to call first. If the owners or any customers have an update on that, it would be great to post. My daughter and I are suffering from La Casa Mania birria withdrawals and need a fix soon !”

“Debs was on my list of places to try for a bit! A new favorite spot. My boyfriend and I enjoyed corn chowder, hash, special blueberry pie stuffed French toast, and a special queso Philly cheesesteak “mess” which was like an omelet with all the Philly ingredients plus jalapeños. Deb joked and said I’d need a nap after the meal. Everything was SO GOOD!!! And I do enjoy a nap. Big fan. So many more things I can’t wait to try!”

“1st visit. Ordered take out & grabbed a coffee during the brief wait. Service was efficient & friendly. Establishment was clean & welcoming. I deeply appreciate that they offer tofu. We ordered the “Vito” swapping chicken out for tofu & the “Cypress Garden” sandwiches… both were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the ingredients. One was $10 the other $12 & this price even included choice of side: pasta salad, apple or chips. We chose the lemon basil pasta salad & it was just as delicious as the sandwich’s. Thank you…you’ve won this customer over for sure!”
