“I just read a story about these people went to eat and witness something was so totally wrong . A trooper came into this restaurant and was refused service. All these was based on the owners feelings about the law enforcement. These men and women put thier life’s on the line to protect everyone including you Mr. Owner. This puts a bad taste in my mouth about the owner , not the restaurant. This owner has good people working for him and they do make good food. However I will never go to this restaurant ever again. All this happened two hours after the Bristol’s policeman was killed on duty.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. I had no idea. All their potato dishes are all delicious, including the sweet potato fries. Their home-made potato chips are the best I’ve ever had. Their medium-sliced onion rings are perfection. There’s lots of large windows so every seat in the house has a good view of the beautiful hills surrounding Indian Springs Golf Course. There’s a fire table on the deck that sits 4. For a perfect day out: Go for a hike at Wadsworth Falls Park, then stop by here for a hearty meal and some warm cookies. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Dinner with friends last night. My first visit, their second. Adequate parking, attractive dining room, attentive and friendly server. My friends both had the Italian chopped salad with chicken and liked it very much. I had the eggplant rollatini with ricotta and spinach, and pasta with vodka sauce, and my husband had the chicken parmesan. Both of those entrees were OK, but nothing to rave about. The bread served with the meal was also just OK. If I were picking an Italian restaurant in Middletown just based on the food, I much prefer Fiore on Main Street with its fabulous garlic rolls- and salads that come with the meals. But Red Fox Amore did have the advantage of easy access to continuing on to New Haven, where we were heading later in the evening.”

“This place is great. My Wife & I live in the area and we order or dine in here at least once a week. The people are friendly and the sushi is always fresh. Additionally, their lunch and dinner boxes are always high quality with good portions. Compared to other Japanese Restaurants in the area, Sushi Man is price competitive. They’re a really nice addition to the South Fire / Xavier area of Middletown; I’d love to see them succeed long term!”

“Debs was on my list of places to try for a bit! A new favorite spot. My boyfriend and I enjoyed corn chowder, hash, special blueberry pie stuffed French toast, and a special queso Philly cheesesteak “mess” which was like an omelet with all the Philly ingredients plus jalapeños. Deb joked and said I’d need a nap after the meal. Everything was SO GOOD!!! And I do enjoy a nap. Big fan. So many more things I can’t wait to try!”

“What a great spot! Bartenders were extremely attentive. I had mentioned that I had seen a bathtub drink in previous reviews - but they were no longer offering it, however they made it for me anyway! I thought that was very nice. My friend and I loved our drinks. We also ordered food - it isn’t made on site but we were very happy with what we got (truffle fries, mozzarella, artichoke bites) . First time tested out with slices which were good, then had a surprisingly good penne alla vodka with shrimp- which were cooked to perfection, and tonight I got a Ceaser salad with shrimp and some wings- all really good! I usually avoid fast food or shawarma spots because of my strict diet, but I chose this place for two reasons: they serve halal food, and during a snowstorm it was the closest option available. I’m really glad I did it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl with grilled chicken chunks, cucumbers, lettuce, chickpeas, hummus, and a variety of flavorful sauces. It was perfect for my no-carb diet and everything was fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a halal, nutritious, and budget-friendly meal. A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . Give this Restaurant a shot , you won’t regret it . Thank you”
