I am actually Chinese and real Chinese food is really hard to find in CT. I ordered the Liang pi for myself and my family. I am now a regular customer to support this family business and enjoy the exceptional hand crafted noodles.
I would give 10 stars if I could
Food is amazing! I had the braised beef hand pulled noodes and the pamb dumpling soup! I will definitely come back here. And next time, I will go for non-spicy as the spicy one was too much for me 😊

Taste of Xi’an: Northwestern Chinese Cuisine is a hidden gem in Connecticut, known for its authentic hand-pulled noodles and delicious dumplings. Regular customers praise the Liang pi, a cold noodle dish, and the braised beef hand-pulled noodles, both crafted with care. The restaurant also offers delightful options like lamb dumplings, pork buns, and stewed pork burgers, all recognized for their rich flavors. Many diners have noted the juicy texture of the dumplings, with one child declaring them “the best dumplings!” The friendly owners contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, often going the extra mile to make customers feel appreciated. The small space may be better suited for takeout, but there are two tables available for those who wish to dine in. The menu is conveniently presented in both English and Chinese on an electronic screen. Overall, Taste of Xi’an is celebrated for its quality dishes and warm service, making it a must-visit for fans of traditional Chinese cuisine.
