“The food was tasty, freshly prepared, and portioned properly. The service could have been a bit faster, clearer and happier, but it's a minor nitpick as the food was accurate and not too untimely. The tables should be cleaned more often and the floor needed to be cleaned as well but it wasn't terrible. Overall a solid choice for a sandwich.Parking: It's a little slanted but there are spots open.“

Wish he owned his own subway or worked in Boston and I’ve would’ve be one of his daily customer. Place was very neat and well kept together. Would come back again to visit when have the chance.“

“My family has been going since it opened almost one hundred years ago. Wow. I've been going since 1967. I live in NH now, and i have to drive 3 hrs each way ( uphill lol) to get the sauce. Worth it. It brings me back to my childhood when I take a bite. comfort food at its best. Nothing like the snap of a Rolsols dog with the perfectly spiced meat sauce. Thanks for the years of memories.“
“If you find yourself in East Hartford CT you definitely have to stop at Augie & Ray's, the staff are always friendly I recommend their breakfast sandwiches always add a hash brown onto the sandwich you can request that, it turns a amazing sandwich into an even more amazing sandwich, I also recommend their pepper and onion cheese burger and their chili cheese dog with the toasted bun fire ?? writing this review has me wanting more I definitely will be back that's a promiseKid-friendliness: Yes definitely kid friendly“
“The food was amazing! I originally went there to try a sandwich I kept hearing about… I ended up ordering multiple!! The staff was friendly and punctual. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a very comfortable atmosphere… and the prices, great! They also have great deals on Tuesdays and Fridays!I’ll def be back for much more! “I actually go to the location in East Hartford... but both locations are delicious. My buddies and I from work go here at least once a week. The dogs are amazing, as are the burgers. Everything is cooked on the flat top grill, and as such, the burgers are not the big fat variety. If you know that going in, they are perfect. The staff is always very engaging and fun, the food is consistent, and I think the prices are very fair. Give these guys a shot... from breakfast sandwiches to lunch food, I have never been disappointed.“
