“Randomly stumbled upon Gaetanos in Westport yesterday when looking for a place to get sandwiches before my son’s baseball game. Having grown up in Belmont Little Italy for the first 22 years of my life I was skeptical about the “Arthur Ave style..” claim on the sign. Well I can tell you they delivered and then some! Was warmly greeted, handled samples of delicious cheeses and more. They were too skeptical when I said I grew up on Arthur Ave but once we started chatting they knew I wasn’t BSing. Saw familiar faces and reminisced about life on Arthur Ave. The owners are warm and kind - the real deal keeping it true to the Arthur Ave spirit. Dare I say they might even do it better!! I can’t say enough about the excellent food and service. If I ever find myself in Westport again I will certainly make a visit! Aside from my son’s team’s win, this nostalgic experience truly made my day and made me feel like I was back home in the Bronx when life was more simple. And yes, everything we ordered and sampled was delicious! No skin on the eggplant and bread from Addeo - doesn’t get any better!“

“Everything was well when i got the food until i arrived back to work to eat and i noticed a small hair in my food. Took it out and put it behind something white so it’s easier to see (placed in the center of photo vertically). I was check NO: 45 and the time was 1/27/2026 1:27pm on the receipt. I often see hair in homecooked meals from my family so this isnt really a big deal for me but i still feel like its important to mention that this did in fact happen. I hope they make sure that this dosent happen again. I really liked the food and would want to eat again worry free.“

“Last week, while I was in London for work, I stopped by Shah’s Halal Food. I usually avoid fast food or shawarma spots because of my strict diet, but I chose this place for two reasons: they serve halal food, and during a snowstorm it was the closest option available. I’m really glad I did it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl with grilled chicken chunks, cucumbers, lettuce, chickpeas, hummus, and a variety of flavorful sauces. It was perfect for my no-carb diet and everything was fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a halal, nutritious, and budget-friendly meal. The staff were also incredibly polite and welcoming.“

“This place the bomb! I just visited today first time the store looks nice good vibe scene. I really been sleeping on this place nice small menu but the big thing are the juices and smoothies ! The flavors look so great ! I got the detox drink it was only ten dollars!!! Man and they have so many more! I really need them I hate having to juice at home but I don't like the restaurant juices cause they put too much sugar or wacky non benefit ingredients! I went there today the bottle I got i used 1/4 of the juice in a 12oz cup and put water in the rest I can't drink juice straight up I have to add water and that juice had so much flavor 😅! I'm going to drink it tonight for dinner to see if it works well if do I'm going back for the others I cud use them for bfast and dinner and I won't have to juice I never have time to juice this was so great ! And then to see the smoothies ! I can't wait to get into this spot! I hope the juices work especially fat burners ! I'll let you know i hope people will check this spot out I can't wait to go back!“

This was my first time going to Veganish Cafe in Bridgeport and when I tell you it did NOT disappoint!
I ordered the SWEET CHILLI spinach wrap with oyster mushrooms and added vegan bacon (because I LOVE bacon 😭). I also got the sweet potato fries and a brownie… and baby everything was GOOD. I ATE IT BEFORE I COULD MAKE IT HOME. And listen… I even mixed all three of my drinks together (I wish I remembered the names 😩) but it was still hitting!

If you’re vegan, you NEED to run there. I don’t know what other place you’re going to, but you need to RUN there okay!And the customer service? Amazing. The young lady at the register was so welcoming, polite, and kind. She made the whole experience even better.I will definitely be back! “Went last night for the first time to celebrate my birthday with my granddaughter. The food was great and we were treated to the best waiter and manager. The service was the best that i have had in a long time and made us feel so special. The veal dish I had was wonderful, Large portion for the price and my granddaughter had the chicken parm and she couldn't finish her dish. I will definitely go again and tell my friends about this gem of a restaurant“

“Fred’s is an absolute gem of a place to get a variety of great takeaway foods. The broccoli salad is crazy good as is the macaroni salad, chicken francaise, dumplings, and many of the soups. I’m not a big desert person, but their key lime pie is stellar. As a bonus, everyone who works there is so friendly.“

“Brewport Brewing Company will most definitely see me again as the pizza was so delicious and the beer very good. I was with maybe 12 others so I managed to see quite a selection of pizzas, and taste some also. Our server Steve could not accommodate us anymore, he was very caring, made you want to come back to Brewport. I even met the owner and his son, they too were very welcoming. “My Daughter graduated yesterday (Mother’s Day) from WCSU. To say that it was a very special day would be an understatement. I decided I wanted to enjoy the day as much as possible, I did not want to cook nor did I want to be rushed out of a restaurant because of the holiday. I wanted to enjoy my guests and my daughter’s achievement without time limits or oven timers. After seeing a friend’s post recommending DiBella’s Catering, I immediately went to the website to see what their catering menu offered. I was instantly interested and called Destiny to help me customize one of their packages to our needs. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions, she helped me put together an incredible menu with as much enthusiasm as I had. When my son arrived to pick up our order, it was ready, fresh, beautifully presented and all set for transport. Everything was absolutely delicious from the salads to the cookies! Our guests LOVED everything and I had no problem giving them Destiny’s contact info for their future catering needs when asked. I know I will be calling her again myself. Thank you Destiny and DiBella’s for allowing me to enjoy one of the most special Mother’s Day ever. 🙏🎓🌟🥰“
