My brother loves this restaurant so we gave it try. No frills open seating type place with nice decor. Not keen on ala carte restaurants but ... Service was prompt and cordial, waitperson made sure we knew the specials. We shared the Tuscan bean appetize which was very tasty and panchetta gave it a nice twist. Atmosphere is always wonderful. We visited on Valentine’s Day and found it was crowded and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Our app was cold on the inside. Our waitress made it right for us. Our entrees were perfect. We love Matto and can’t wait for our next time.

We tried for the first time last night. I had called earlier in the day for a reservation, but when we arrived it was not in the system. They nonetheless found room for us on a crowded night. The menu had a lot of appealing items, it was hard to decide and we were happy with everything we ordered. Service was great. It is a bit open room that is a bit loud. We expected that so it didn't bother us but just adding it to the review for folks who prefer a quieter night out.
