“We tried for the first time last night. I had called earlier in the day for a reservation, but when we arrived it was not in the system. They nonetheless found room for us on a crowded night. The menu had a lot of appealing items, it was hard to decide and we were happy with everything we ordered. Service was great. It is a bit open room that is a bit loud. We expected that so it didn't bother us but just adding it to the review for folks who prefer a quieter night out.“

“The receptionist from my job brought in the Shelton Business Paper and told me about a new pizza place that was opening in Shelton. She knows I love pizza so she brought it into work to share it with me. If you follow me then you know my kids and I love pizza so we had to visit. Upon entering the restaurant, my daughter and I first noticed how clean the restaurant was. The first thing that pops out at you is the animated wall print on the wall. I loved the fact that it was bold, bright colored, but not too much to overwhelm the customers. We we're greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and I even met the owner. He gave me a tour of the restaurant since it was my first time visiting. There are three interlocking restaurants that he owns which is Parker Pizza, Fatty Patty, and Parker's Eatery and Bar. As a customer, you can finish your pizza and walk towards the back of the restaurant and have a drink at Parker's Eatery and Bar. What a cool idea!! Parker Pizza also has self serve beer machines in the restaurant if you like beer. My daughter and I ordered a cheese pizza with half pepperoni. The pizza was thin and the cheese pull was the best. The pizza was a little oily but the flavor was definitely there. The sauce was flavorful and the crust had that buttery taste but in my opinion the crust was too thin. All in all, it was a good pizza. The customer service was excellent as I got a tour of the restaurant and the young gentleman that was are server was great. Great attitude and very pleasant. The pizza is good, the atmosphere is great, and they provided great customer service.“
“I love this restaurant! The best food you can get. Specifically the chicken and honey mustard is astounding!Parking: The to-go spots are full pretty often. On a busy weekend you may have some trouble finding parking, at least in the front of the restaurant.“
“Great place, great food, staff very nice. Only reason didn't give 5 stars all around was atmosphere-more of a sports bar atmosphere not really my thing and not from the area so felt kinda like a newbie. Service was a bit slow but it was pretty busy. Fries were cold when I got them but they made a whole new huge batch and they were absolutely delicious! Best drink and food prices anywhere I've found! “First time visiting the Spotted Horse Tavern. They don't take reservations. However, the wait was about 20 minutes to be expected on a Friday night at 6:00 - I'm glad we waited the atmosphere is is warm and inviting for such a large space. The horse barn theme decor was spot on LOL sorry had to?. Service was great food was so delicious. We ordered the roasted eggplant stack - the marinara sauce was spectacular!! I hope this review is shared with the chef/chefs my kiss to all of you it's very hard to find a good, simple marinara sauce at restaurants that doesn't have oregano in it. The Bang Bang Shrimp Budha ??? was equally as delicious large portion BTW for those who like to take leftovers. Loved my spiced pear martini was one of the best ones I've had. I can't wait to return for their summer vibes outdoor game time fun. “Went to a baby shower there and it was really nice. The place was very clean and the owner was there and he was very personable and he made sure that things were available to us. The area was spacious and they have a full kitchen to use. Would have a event there.“
“This place is really nice. It has such an eclectic menu. All the food is fresh. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Sometimes they have live bands. Their drinks are really good too. You're definitely in the show and area. Check it out and in the summer there's lots of outdoor seating with beautiful scenic views of a river“
“Ever since moved here, this has been my go-to Italian restaurant. They offer a classic italian menu and seasonal cocktail list. The service is top-notch, and they can almost always accommodate whatever requests you may have. Even after spending my time in NYC I still would take this hidden gem over anything else I have had. I find their seafood in particular to be a cut above the rest. If you haven't tried it yet, its a must.“
