“Good place. Changed my opinion of the franchise. Had a poor experience with the Southbury location, but this one was great. The two employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I explained I had no idea what I wanted, and had only had a so-so experience the one time I had been to a Nardelli's before. Both employees were very friendly and talkative.The sandwich was good, the store was clean, the bathroom was clean and had nice decorations.I wish I had gotten their names, I would absolutely name them. “The food is yummy, and they'll hand out samples of their soup of the day and when I was in there, they put a top on my sample to take it with me, since I had a mask on. I really appreciated that. But set right at a very non-traditional intersection of North Avenue & Roosevelt Drive is this gem. The outside doesn't look like much at all and there's maybe 6 parking spots to the left of the restaurant then there's another business across the street that MAY allow you to park there. At your own risk of course. Once on the inside the spot looks super modern and energetic. The back wall is all brick, the walls are painted with solid colors and there's a lil' easter egg to the right of the front entrance of The Incredible Hulk busting through the wall holding a plate of wings. Lol.Service: We sat right at the bar and the owner Jason was there so he was serving us directly. He was funny, accommodating and just was a genuine good time. Hiba, Meghan and Rachel were also very accommodating.Food: So while here I tried 7 different flavors of the 126 that are offered. I'll break them down one by one...Pink Peppercorn Lemon Thyme: They came out of the kitchen SO HOT. Lol, so be careful not to burn your mouth. They were AMAZING. Deliciously salty from the Himalayan sea salt, lemony and rounded out with some good Earthy flavors.Pink Peppercorn Lemon Curd: This is basically everything I described above, but with a delicious sauce on top. The sauce was a little honey-strawberry-lemon sweetness that complemented the wing excellently.Cilantro Lime Tahini: The cilantro flavor was an excellent base, but this may sound strange... but it almost tasted like refried beans. There was also a good cheesy flavor involved as well. It was so different and executed very well. Not a spicy wing for those that can't handle it.Cajun Garlic Butter Bacon: These were easily the tastiest "looking" wings due to all of the bacon pieces on top and they smelled simply incredible. Again, temperature hot, but these tasted like they were cooked IN a garlic oil. My goodness. The bacon added a meaty, hearty, salty, bacon-y flavor that just went well with the garlic and Cajun seasoning.Truffalo: This one is easy. Truffle and Buffalo mixed together. Excellent. I'm truffle-biased so of course I'd love these, but I could've used more truffle if I'm being honest.Strawberry Habanero: These were refreshing.. The strawberry flavor was very prevalent and it reminded me of a sweet & sour from a Chinese restaurant, buy elevated. I didn't get a lot of heat from these despite the name, but I loved it.Ghostly Habanero: While I didn't find the heat in the last flavor, it was all here. This was the hottest flavor on the menu at the time and rightfully so. These wings were gritty, sweet from the peppers and the heat was INSTANT. The habanero gave that initial jumpstart of heat, but the ghost pepper is the one that ramps up over time. It took about 3 minutes for the heat to FULLY kick in, but it definitely did. I teared up, I was sweating and this is not a wing I could eat a whole bunch of. Delicious though!Peanut Butter & Jelly: These were the hottest temperature wings we've had. Lol. Peanut butter is so incredibly dense so it just held all of that heat in. These were served with fluff as a dipping sauce. They were savory and sweet. Done very well.Value: Chicken wings are already expensive on their own, so adding this level of skillset to cook them, the materials and all brings an order of 6 to $10.99 for "Basic Flavors". "Not So Basic" is 6 for $11.75 and "Basically Ridiculous" as well as "Dessert" wings are 6 for $11.99. You can of course order them in bigger denominations, but there are 100% worth it.In conclusion, sadly, I haven't been back here since June of 2022, but I want to come back SO BAD. “We recently had the pleasure of getting a bite to eat at the Country Corner and it became more than just lunch. I was up in Bethany before COVID and had a wonderful meal then but upon walking in this time I was reminded that when you come here you will be welcomed like family. Between Cassie, Sandy and Moe they run a wonderful place. The place is beautiful and the food really does stand out. I had a Chef Salad which I was able to eat all of it. It was very big and very fresh. I truly enjoyed it. My wife ordered a Pistachio cake for dessert. ( I don't care for Pistachio) Well I ate half of hers. It was AMAZING! I was told it was made by Mom. She is so incredibly talented! You really could taste the love. I was told that Sam (dad) passed away a few years ago. “I will start by saying that 4 stars is being just a tiny bit generous. My meal was more like a 3.5. First - it's cash only so keep that in mind prior to stopping in. I went in alone - I was shopping in the area but not from town. Rachel's had pretty great reviews and I was really excited about it. Even though it was lunchtime - I decided on the Irish Benny. I looked at the menu for a while. There was nothing truly inspiring on it. I was tossing and turning trying to decide - I was a bit nervous ordering the hash because it didn't say 'homemade' on the menu. I finally asked and was sold on the Irish Benny when I found out the hash wasn't coming out of the can (not that I don't love that from time to time). It was served with a rather small (but fine for me!) serving of home fries. I did ask for them well done but many of them can out burnt. The bread that the Benny was served on was too thick. It was super tough to cut through. I believe it was grilled on the griddle and was overcharrred leaving it with an odd taste. The eggs on top may have been poached but there was barely a runny yolk so it was hard to tell. There was too little hollandaise. Overall - it was all just a bit flat for me. The do squeeze their own lemonade which was refreshing and delicious! The vibe is cute - rustic and cozy. My waiter was nice - attentive and engaging without over doing it.“

“A friend recommended it and although it’s 35 minutes away, we tried it. Well, all I can say is tonight we were back there for the fourth time in seven weeks. The prices are absolutely fair, the Menu is very extensive plus specials we’ve had the Waitress (Melanie) Who is absolutely fantastic and is afraid to say stop don’t order that. It’s not that good tonight however, this is fantastic. And the food is excellent. Every time we’ve been there, we’ve taken food home for a second meal. Considering how many portions are under $24 with most of them under $20 that says a lot. How do you recommend a clam chowder, fantastic. So far I have had several pasta dishes of which both were so large. I took some home and I am a big eater. I also had a special sandwich tonight that came with aus jus similar to a French Dip but very very nice. My wife was upset because I ate it all. On Saturday evening, it can be a little bit noisy and we recommend sitting in the main dining room. However, we love sitting in the pub area in the table next to the electric fireplace, which is further away from the bar and it’s just very comfortable. The only negative we can come up with is because we like to eat leisurely and we tell Melanie to keep our food coming slowly we’re there for a while and the hard chairs make our butts sore. We wish we had pads on the chairs.If you’ve never been there, you have to try it.Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces with a good number of them for handicap and the in the four times we’ve been there, we have never had a problem. During golf season some golfers may park in the restaurant parking lot, which could be a problem but so far we’ve had none.Wheelchair accessibility: They have both stairs and easy wheelchair ramp with handrails on both sides“
