“I stopped down here the other day after reading about the place on some reddits for having good cheesesteaks.

Boy was I not disappointed. This is easily one of the best cheesesteaks CT has to offer and I have tried many.

The fries were hot and crispy, the onions were not overbearing chopped up nicely, the meat was seasoned beautifully and everything was made fresh and hot. No bad bits or chewy bits in the steak and great flavor.

Staff was super friendly, place was clean. As soon as someone gets up they clean it.

Very affordable. Really nothing to gripe about. This place is awesome! Cant wait to go back for more.“

Since first review post went today at peak lunch time a line almost out the door and only waited 5 minutes or so to order get food and get table. “For the guy that found a fly in his coffee, well I waitress ed for a long time and I’d never charge a customer for a second cup of coffee. I waitressed for 27 yrs in a Westport diner and we never charged a customer forbad food. We would just remake it again or offered something different. Customers a lot different in Westport.“

“I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“

“The BEST breakfast I have had in this area. My husband and I like to dine at the “mom & pop”, where the locals eat restaurants when we travel. I flew here to bring my grandson back home after his spring break. I was looking for some real breakfast and Monteiro’s hit the spot. Even the coffee tasted great. “The Village Cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch. A true hidden treasure in the heart of Ansonia. The quality of the food made here is second to none, and the value for what you pay can't be beat. I always order the house salad with grilled chicken & my co workers love the chicken breakfast burrito, but we have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all equally as good. “Went to pub 67 last night to watch Nashville drive I have to say this is now my favorite place to watch a band, such a great atmosphere. We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back. “New favorite Dominican spot in Waterbury!! 🇩🇴 Better flavor than Via Al Paraiso. I used to go there all the time for Dominican food, however, this place has better flavor in my opinion (I tried their shrimp mofongo, pernil, and saltfish). Also, Via Al Paraiso is so stingy with their shrimp 🍤 with the shrimp mofongo...this place is NOT!! A much better portion for the money!!
Also,the woman at the counter was so nice!! She let me try some of the food while I was waiting on my mofongo!! 🥰“

“9.2.23 we got married at our hometown fair grounds and had Frankie’s cater! It was PERFECTION!! Everyone was blown away when they found out that’s what we were having for food, so fun, and who doesn’t love hot dog and burgers (especially FRANKIE’s)?! There was only a couple cooks/servers and MAN OH MAN did they crank it all out! We had around 160 people and they had a line as soon as the food was out, serving up all the goods in such a timely manor. They cooked and served for about 3 hours.. it worked out SO well, many had 2nds and 3rds, plus we had left overs 😍. Everyone was RAVING! we couldn’t have had it any better, Thank you guys SO much!“
