Boy was I not disappointed. This is easily one of the best cheesesteaks CT has to offer and I have tried many.

The fries were hot and crispy, the onions were not overbearing chopped up nicely, the meat was seasoned beautifully and everything was made fresh and hot. No bad bits or chewy bits in the steak and great flavor.

Staff was super friendly, place was clean. As soon as someone gets up they clean it.

“jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. “We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! “9.2.23 we got married at our hometown fair grounds and had Frankie’s cater! It was PERFECTION!! Everyone was blown away when they found out that’s what we were having for food, so fun, and who doesn’t love hot dog and burgers (especially FRANKIE’s)?! There was only a couple cooks/servers and MAN OH MAN did they crank it all out! We had around 160 people and they had a line as soon as the food was out, serving up all the goods in such a timely manor. They cooked and served for about 3 hours.. it worked out SO well, many had 2nds and 3rds, plus we had left overs 😍. Everyone was RAVING! we couldn’t have had it any better, Thank you guys SO much!“
