“We recently had the pleasure of getting a bite to eat at the Country Corner and it became more than just lunch. I was up in Bethany before COVID and had a wonderful meal then but upon walking in this time I was reminded that when you come here you will be welcomed like family. Between Cassie, Sandy and Moe they run a wonderful place. The place is beautiful and the food really does stand out. I had a Chef Salad which I was able to eat all of it. It was very big and very fresh. I truly enjoyed it. My wife ordered a Pistachio cake for dessert. ( I don't care for Pistachio) Well I ate half of hers. It was AMAZING! I was told it was made by Mom. She is so incredibly talented! You really could taste the love. I was told that Sam (dad) passed away a few years ago. “While in the area, we were hungry for breakfast and decided to give Jimmy’s a try. Loved the no frills, hometown diner vibe right away. They had everything you could want for breakfast on the menu. They did a great job on the poached eggs, and the bacon was nice and crispy. Our one critique would be that the corned beef hash didn’t seem homemade. The food came out quickly and our waitress was attentive. I would definitely come back!“

“I will start by saying that 4 stars is being just a tiny bit generous. My meal was more like a 3.5. First - it's cash only so keep that in mind prior to stopping in. I went in alone - I was shopping in the area but not from town. Rachel's had pretty great reviews and I was really excited about it. Even though it was lunchtime - I decided on the Irish Benny. I looked at the menu for a while. There was nothing truly inspiring on it. I was tossing and turning trying to decide - I was a bit nervous ordering the hash because it didn't say 'homemade' on the menu. I finally asked and was sold on the Irish Benny when I found out the hash wasn't coming out of the can (not that I don't love that from time to time). It was served with a rather small (but fine for me!) serving of home fries. I did ask for them well done but many of them can out burnt. The bread that the Benny was served on was too thick. It was super tough to cut through. I believe it was grilled on the griddle and was overcharrred leaving it with an odd taste. The eggs on top may have been poached but there was barely a runny yolk so it was hard to tell. There was too little hollandaise. Overall - it was all just a bit flat for me. The do squeeze their own lemonade which was refreshing and delicious! The vibe is cute - rustic and cozy. My waiter was nice - attentive and engaging without over doing it.“

“We were at the flea market nearby and went for lunch because it was so close. Located in a strip mall, it’s was a cozy, informal, little restaurant with booths and some tables. Service was prompt and courteous, menu had all the classics and nice, simple dinners and black board specials. We had cheeseburger deluxe and pastrami melt. The fries were so good, steak fries that cooked to a deep golden brown. Perfect crunch for the outside, soft and mashed potato like inside. It’s been a while since I had fries that good!!! Burger was hefty, cooked to perfection and juicy. Pastrami melt was tender, with very thinly sliced sauté onions, grilled well on rye. Coleslaw was very good, not too saucy, not to dry. Ice tea was very good.Saw others selections, pot roast with gravy looked so good and a grilled chicken salad that was enormous!Prices were great for the quality and portion sizes. “3 for breakfast on this day. Very nice patio, closed because of time of year. Inside is a typical small breakfast room. Two TVs on with news. We were greeted and treated very well. One plate was a typical scrambled eggs, potatoes and white toast. Wasn't mine but heard it was good. The toast was a thick bread, buttered and toasted well. The potatoes were fresh cut and grilled with onions and spices. Another plate was Huevos Rancheros. The menu has quite a bit of Mexican flavor to it, and it being one of my wife's favorite breakfast to eat out, we thought it was a safe bet. Not the case unfortunately. Partly our fault and partly because the waitress didn't ask, the eggs were over easy and runny eggs are a no-no for her, so it sort of ruined the whole dish. The rest of it was just so-so and quite sparse-no avocado, no salsa or pico and just a small side of re-fried black beans. I had the Protein Bowl special. The only thing wrong with it was that it didn't come in a bowl! This made it a bit more difficult to mix up, but the combination of black beans, quinoa, avocado, fresh pico and two eggs over easy were quite delicious, especially the freshly made pico. The desserts all looked so good but we decided on the mixed berry scone. It's not a scone (meaning it's not dry) but it was very good. Definitely worth another try, likely when the weather is nice again and we can sit outside!“
“So despite the name, Big Daddys does have eat-in service, and also appears to be part of a gas station? The location is a bit off the beaten path, but plenty of parking. I found a certificate on Restaurants.com for the pizzeria, and it was a good deal. Lunch and dinner at a discount! The burgers were pretty large, as were the fries if you ordered them as a side. The pizza had more of a tomato-acidy sauce than sweet, but a good amount of cheese. You could order by the slice inside. There is also ice cream, onion rings in the hot food area, and baked goods wrapped for desserts. There's both Coke and Pepsi in the coolers, and chips behind the window side booths. They also have a bar area and sell on Slice! Big Daddys also does local delivery on certain days in the evening. Goodness, there's a lot going on. Plus, a good flow of pick up orders. The gentlemen at the register seemed to have a good handle on things though.“

You walk in, and everyone starts to know your name… The weight staff is always very friendly and often strike up a conversation which I find something special these days. The food options are always great, and there are always a few specials on the list that catch someone’s eye. The draft beer choices are always rotating and changing which is great; often locally sourced. The bar area is always bustling, and offers a free pool table for patrons.
