Started with smoked wings and the shishito peppers, which were out of this world good! Fish and chips with fries done in duck fat, Mac n cheese with short rib was soooo good with the Gouda cheese! “To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

“I went to Whitlock's a couple of weekends ago and had the absolute best meal. I ordered the French dip and it was mouthwatering good. My server's name was Tisha and she was honestly one of the best server's I've ever meet. Her smile light up the room and she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy from the time I walked in, to the time we left. I would recommend Whitlock's to anyone who hasn't been.“

“I’ve been to a lot of New Milford’s restaurants but I have to say the service at The Abbey was exceptional and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Given how many eateries don’t survive over time; they are the model for a sustaining and thriving food service business. My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and I had the Chicken Caesar salad. Both were excellent and the portion size and portion per price was very good. Even the water tasted excellent. If I had one complaint it would be that the noise level was a little high, but it is a pub style restaurant where you can watch a game.“

“We ordered through Uber Eats. I had no clue they are either in Denny’s, or connected to Denny’s. Either way, the burgers were great. They had a BOGO deal through Uber Eats. I got a double and it was almost difficult to finish, almost. The seasoned fries were really good too. Slight upgrade charge but it’s worth it. Will definitely order from here again.“
