“The pub also has a wide selection of beers on tap, including Irish favorites and they also a variety of American beers available, as well as wines and cocktails.O'Connor's Public House is a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family. It's also a popular spot for live music, so be sure to check the schedule before you go.“
“Whenever boating on Candlewood Lake with friends we always stop at this classic restaurant on the lake. Service is attentive, food is good, plenty of choice for fish lovers and non fish eaters. Blackened Mahi Mahi, salads was delicious. Great lake views wherever you sit. Lots of seating on all levels. Service is attentive and friendly.“
“The Women's Club of Brookfield went to Happy Hour we had a group of 12. The service was outstanding. the menu for happy hour offered a wide variety something for everyone. The food was delicious. We did wish they allowed our group one big table as we were split into two table we could not all socialize properly. It is after all the reason we get together. We'd like to go back if this could be corrected. Overall a great value“
“First timer here to Maggie McFly's. Impressive menu, atmosphere and food presentation. Would definitely go back. The half pizza (Thai Chicken) and salad was incredible. Would love to try some of their other options in the near future. I took a long time to review their menu initially, it was HUGE. I think my waiter forgot about me and my food took a while to arrive (45 mins?), he came back to see how things were ... And I said my water is just fine. Shortly thereafter it received my food. I'd go back.“
“Really good accommodations for gluten, most of the apps were gluten free or could be made gluten free. They even made a few sauces to accommodate a dairy allergy, highly recommend this place and this will be the new go to spot for us. For those of us with no allergies, all food and service was spot on!Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy was easy here, highly recommended“
“My husband and I went there on a Friday night and it was a nice venue, but we waited between appetizers and main dish for over 45 minutes. What we thought would be a 1 hour meal turned into an over 2 hour meal, just waiting for our entrée. although the food was good we probably wouldn't go back unless we want to sit and wait.“
“When Good Eats opened I was so excited to have a great restaurant local. They have exceeded my expectations every time I've been there. The food is excellent and craft cocktails even better! I have tended bar on and off for a long time so a great drink is super important to me! and I LOVE the creativity of the food menu!“
“Had a lovely time at Dragonfly on Thursday night. Food was hot when served, dinner was definitely worth the price. The vibe was very intimate and romantic with ambiance / twinkle lighting. Our server Ryan was very helpful being it was our first time here. We came just for the Periogies and they are a must try! Will also recommend the pistachio martini if you have a sweet tooth for desert. Will be coming back !“
“I’m trying to put into words how absolutely incredible brunch at @jlawrencect was. If I had to rate from 0 - 10, I’d give it a 10 without any hesitation. @jlawrencect just recently opened so their space is brand new and beautifully decorated! The drinks were perfectly made, the food was delicious (seriously the tastiest brunch food I’ve had yet!) and the staff made our experience and time there wonderful! My top picks Drink - J. Law Mimosa Starter - Shareable warm donuts Entree - Main Lobster Egg Benny (with home fries) Dessert - Cookie dough with ice cream Definitely make sure to visit them. Perfect Sunday brunch with friends and or family ❤️“
“My favorite restaurant in Bethel. The food is always on point, and the staff is awesome. Went for the first time during martini happy hour with friends, and the bartender Grace made me an excellent espresso martini. I've been coming back ever since and she always takes care of me.“
“The decor is so unique I walked around in awe both before and after dinner. The food was delicious but the history in the place even more impressive. Yes, I had my fortune told by the most lovely lady, and marvel at the “labor of love” restaurant the town of Danbury holds. The owner is a one of a kind guy who gave us a tour of the place with explanations of his travels, his acquisitions, and the story of the restaurant’s name. I give it 10 out of 10!“
“It's always a friendly atmosphere. Dan and his entire staff are always point on. Over the last couple of years It's become one of my favorites places to eat. I've taken many family members and friends who also enjoy the food and atmosphere as much as i do. Their bacon wrapped scallops are the best I've ever had.Wheelchair accessibility: From the parking lot everything is on one level weather you want to eat inside or out.“
“Sonny’s is an excellent choice for a simple, honest breakfast filling the gap for New Fairfielders after the Luncheonette closed.Sonny’s is open during the morning until 2 pm allowing plenty of time to stop in for a breakfast or lunch. We each had an omelette- like another reviewer said - which was stuffed full of your choice of ingredients. I had their Geno’s omelet which was filled with bacon, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese. Neatly folded it made a pretty presentation unlike other diners or cafes whose omelets are like a placemat folded in half.My husband had the special - their Mexican omelet which had a festive array of cheese, salsa, veggies and more. But the highlight of the breakfast for us was their grits. I’m not fond of home fries - too big and chunky for me, so their grits were a great substitute. They are heavenly - they were creamy with the grits apparent, thick with a pat of butter. We add some salt and pepper and enjoyed. Why am I focusing a review on a simple side dish? My husband is from the deep South where grits are the mainstay side dish to every breakfast. The grits served here were just like the best grits he had from down south. Most places up here serve thin, runny grits that are too gritty. Properly done takes cooking them slow and long so the grits break down somewhat and develops that rich creamy flavor. So unexpected to find a southern dish done so well. All their other dishes are just as delicious as the ones we had.Sonny’s has a homey atmosphere where Sonny himself steps out of the kitchen and checks in with the customers.Service was quick and attentive. My coffee cup was refilled 3 times without me asking. Condiments were also offered without asking.Sonny’s is touch of a blast from the past with good simple breakfasts (and lunch) with great service and a smile.“
“Had a wonderful night on New Year's Eve. Food delicious and great selections. Our waiter Omar was excellent. At the end we called the owner over and Tracy pulled over a chair to talk with us a bit. We had a chance to tell him how great everything was. Highly recommend.“
“If your looking for a authentic feeling, sit down restaurant in the Sandy Hook area, then look no further. With exceptional service and food cooked to perfection you really get it all here. I highly recommend the short rib dumplings as an appetizer to show they mean business.Parking: Roughly 4 spots in front of restaurant and 30 - 40 in the back.Kid-friendliness: Great selection of food for kids.“
“Craft- a Unique Hidden Gem.As someone, who has frequented restaurants for 40 years, Craft is without a doubt the most consistent, and enjoyable place that I have had the pleasure to patronize.Craft offers amazing cocktails, wines, craft beer, along w/domestic, and imported beer, great food, and professional service.Make no mistake this is a well-run establishment, led by their stoic, and great-guy owner Jasson, who though usually stationed in the kitchen can often be found bartending, serving, greeting customers, and actively training new staff. Most times you are greeted by their exceptional Maitre D’ Raymundo, or master bartenders- the ruggedly handsome Peterson, future interior designer to the stars Sam, or California dream-girl Amber. The professional waitstaff is comprised of the elegant Lee, lovely Colleen, the beautiful & mysterious Nicki, future electrical contracting mogul Anthony, the always affable Justin, Terminator-like server Jorge, and captivating hostess Victoria. The “back of the house” is anchored by former “soccer star” Chef William, Christopher- “Master of the art of the fry,” the three amigos, and suds-busting engineer Selby round out the rest of a remarkable staff, who make Craft a most sought after destination.“
“We love the food and the family who runs the business is wonderful! We have been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. Always delicious! Milkshakes are amazing! Love the fried clams, western omelette, hamburgers and fries to name a few! The coleslaw is great too! Had the special today - chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato ranch on a wrap! Delicious!“
“I was able to call for a table on the way there. Service was a little slow because it was a very busy Saturday night. The food was prepared and tasted very good. The price was also very fairly priced. You get a soup or salad plus vegtable and a starch with dinner. Definitely going to be a regular spot.“
“I just had the best chicken pot pie ever. I purchased it at Sapowski Farm store in Granby, MA. I am going to look into if the pies are sold anywhere else because Sapowski’s is closed for the season. Again the best chicken pot pie ever!“
“The Farmhouse is the best restaurant around. This co-owned establishment has split the management, one owner on the front end with the other being head chef in the back and it is reflected in the quality of everything they do.From the highest of standards reflected in their sourcing of the ingredients and the preparation of the food all of the way to the service, accomodations and atmosphere I sincerely couldn't say nicer things. Top notch in every way.My husband and I had our after wedding dinner here and front end owner, Michelle who is ever present made everything set for us, reserving their back room with no issue and ultra accommodating to any changes we made to our party number/requests. The service for our group of 26 was on point and the food was exceptional. We have already been back and trust it as our regular, special place. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here! Thanks again to All of You at The Farmhouse ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: My father who cannot handle stairs/steps/inclines was able to handle the logistics of The Farmhouse with ease. It is a straight shot from the parking lot and handicapped spot with no curb of any kind to get into the easily accessible building.“
“I personally think that Sycamore Drive-In is a great spot to dine. I don't often go but when I do it is a treat. The steakburger was my first experience with one and it was amazing. I really think that it was a very, very juicy burger. The fries are a great side and you can never go wrong with them. The real star of the show is the vanilla shakes. I could actually talk about their shakes for a few hours. It is unequivocally good to everything else in the restaurant. It is also a good size to price ratio. When me and my whole family dine here we leave full and happy in the car. The atmosphere of the 1950's-80's with arcade machines and vintage looking decor bodes well with the style of food. I really think these are the best burgers and fries in CT and will be a happy customer for years to come.“
“The Barnwood is our go to for occasions as well just to eat out. The wait staff are very good . Our orders always arrive promptly, and as ordered. In addition to a well rounded menu there always are wonderful specials. We have never had a meal that we didn't like. The chef is inventive and steps outside of the ordinary with fish and meat selections. The only negative is that the acoustics are dreadful making it noisy when the restaurant fills up.Also the tables for two are small.“
“Awesome food and great craft beer list. Very knowledgeable staff about craft beers and wine. Great food and and a great value. Very cute, friendly waitreses. Truly great beer selection, not just the usual 5 different hazy NE IPA most places put up as their craft beer. There was 1 Belgian, 2 Germans, a bourbon barrel aged beer, as well as few Excellent Local beers. Do yourself a flavor, go for the beer and stay for the delicious food.Highly recommended!“
“This place was really great! First time I'd ever been since they changed the name. Went for a fun night out with my nephews fiance. She's not from the area and I'd really hoped to show her some cool spots. This did not disappoint, even on a Tuesday. We got the loaded tots app and green monster pesto pizza. The tots were a but spicy, but nothing that burned our mouth. Just gave us a few hot flashes and some laughs. But really, the food was Excellent. We were there pretty late, saw the kitchen going home. Even as we were the only 2 ppl left, we'd asked the waitress if we were holding her up and she was so sweet and accommodating, never made us feel like we had to leave. I did tip well as a result. Would absolutely return!!!“
“They make the BEST Italian Combo around. It’s made correctly and they don’t skimp on the cold cuts like some places do. The bread is incredibly soft and delicious. I won’t go anywhere else for an Italian Combo! The pernil and rice are also delicious. Highly recommend. So happy to have them in town!“
“I suprised my 5 year old grandson today with lunch, He was so excited he just about ate his lunch. This little guy has LeukemiaHe was diagnosed a year and a half ago andTwo more years of treatments, i wanted to make his day thankyou for all the BatmanStuff.“
“The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!“
“If you want the sports bar of all sports bars and love good wings- this is your spot. Boneless and traditional options. A TV at every table with remote and an authentic American sports pub vibe- this is the place to watch the game. We visit during March madness with our 10 ye old son and he had the time of his life with his dad.Sweet Chilli wings are 10/10“
“Nestled in downtown New Milford, Johana's has expanded from a little restaurant to a medium-sized restaurant -- and the COVID-era outdoor seating is here to stay for good, it seems. Thankfully, the service and food haven't suffered as they've grown. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, so they only get two chances to earn your money. I've only been for breakfast, and it's worth it! I had the scotch eggs, and while I wouldn't order that special again, that's my own personal tastes. I will say they were delicious, cooked perfectly, and I'm glad I tried them. My girlfriend had an omelet with no shortage of fillings. The giant pile of home fries on the side also helped. The coffee is refilled constantly until you tell them to stop.“
“Great place!! .?????and old RR Station with eclectic artwork. posters and photos.Since it was our first visit ... my wife and I had what started it. THE BURGERITTO and Black Manhattans...PERFECT.The unique menu along with great first impression, the 30 minutes to drive is worth it.This is bot a DIS.. Basic ingredients that are elevated for anyone!Tom and Maggie were great .Look forward to my next visit.“
“Clean, open, and fun place for dinner. I love that they give you complimentary bread and they had some fun drink specials for St. Patrick's day. The nachos were definitely loaded. I would prefer the guac to come on the side not already put on top as the extras I took home didn't last well. The shepherds pie was very tasty!“
“I usually order out as I did this evening. I ordered my usual when o order there, NYSteak sandwich with fries. I ordered rare and it was cooked perfect. Roll was fresh. The only disappointment was the small cut. Not sure if they went down in size or it was a one time thing. I was surprised at the shape and the size. Otherwise excellent.“
“Cover two is a great spot to have a good meal in a fun atmosphere! BTW, the cheeseburger salad is un…….believable!! Best ever. The wings are always great, with lots of flavors to choose from. The place is hopping with families, kids out with their friends and lots of energy. Tons of TVs playing every sporting event you would want to watch. We go there frequently for a solid meal and great experience. Small observation: we were shorted a wing for takeout a couple times. No worries though, stuff happens when you are so busy, and we will be back again soon!“
“Delicious! I’d suggest calling ahead during lunch because they get busy with a lunch rush (good for them!) Everything I ordered was ready in the time they told me to come pickup. The few one star reviews tell more about the person who wrote them than the business itself lol! Will be going back.“
