“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

They put on the whole show and smoked the drink right at the table. Definitely not a disappointment. They always have seasonal drinks and come up and ask how they were. Lots of care in the food and drinks they put on the menu.“

The private event space was ideal, spacious, welcoming, and flexible enough for us to personalize with our own decor. The food was delicious. “I went to Whitlock's a couple of weekends ago and had the absolute best meal. I ordered the French dip and it was mouthwatering good. My server's name was Tisha and she was honestly one of the best server's I've ever meet. Her smile light up the room and she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy from the time I walked in, to the time we left. I would recommend Whitlock's to anyone who hasn't been.“

It was crisp in all the right places, tasted like butter, vanilla, and cinnamon, all the right things. And the hashbrowns were absolutely delicious! Whatever you are doing, keep that up! “Great place for family and friends to get a meal, catch a game. Management was very generous with accommodating to ensure everyone go to see the game they requested. “I’m not from CT but this is the Applebees I will be coming to. NY Locations aren’t this happy and caring. The manager Jessica was on top of everything. I’m a girls girl and I was amazed how she’s a manager, waitress and a bartender. That’s what we call a triple threat. Her employees are so helpful towards one another and to the customers. I felt the love and how they treat each other as if they were family. I will be back and will continue driving an hour up to the Danbury location.“

The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!!
