steak was great but mashed potatoes not so good. a baked potato was $4.50?????????????
I was back home visiting relatives and my brother brought me to Chuck steakhouse. I started off with an Aperol spritz which of course was very refreshing. I had the scallops with capers and a butter sauce, which I enjoyed very much and the steaks that were ordered by the others looked so good. The salad bar was fine and had lots of different options. The waiters were very attentive and not one soda glass was left less than full. Nice place to gather with friends or family.
We had a blast. Classic steakhouse but with a varied menu. Went there with a group for a party, enjoyed the live music, excellent hospitality, and good time was had by all

Based on the reviews, Chuck's Steakhouse By Barbarie's is a good local steakhouse with food, service, and atmosphere that are miles above the chains. The salad bar is always great, fresh, and at a fair price. The restaurant offers excellent specials, including an Early Bird dinner and a Sunday special with steak tips au poive that includes a delicious salad bar and a choice of 3 desserts. The portions are perfect, with steak tips that are super tender and melt in your mouth. The prime rib is excellent. However, some menu changes are disappointing; a filet mignon now includes a side of mashed potatoes and carrots that cannot be substituted, and an additional side of baked potato costs extra. The service is very nice and makes customers feel like family. Daily specials are perfect.
