“We did the Wednesday prix fixe menu and it was amazing. It truly felt to be like I was eating art. I don't know the name of the chef, but you can tell they are exceptional. The attention to detail in each dish made it obvious the chef is passionate about what they create. The flavors were unique, the atmosphere upscale yet comforting, and the service was lovely. We had a wonderful time.“

From the moment we walked into the door, we were greeted so attended so happy our wait staff her name was Rosa. She couldn’t be any nicer, sweet and accommodating. “My husband Mark and I met Doug at PJ Clark’s and went there for years. When he opened Hudson Malone, of course we went many times.! I then got sick (surgeries in 14 months, all good now!) ) and when I walked back in with my husband after almost two years, Doug saw us coming in, poured my favorite wine, took my hand and kissed it, and said ““Welcome Home Claudia”

“This place is nothing short of amazing. We went on a recommendation of a friend for our wedding anniversary. As soon as we walked in we were treated like family. When they found out it was our anniversary they gave us a glass of champagne. The calamari was incredible. Not oily and so flavorful. The linguini fruit ti di mara was delicious. My wife had the special with clams and mussels and that too was delicious. They constantly checked on us and made us feel so welcome. For dessert we shared a Carrot cake and it was so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you making our anniversary special.“

“We hosted my daughter‘s bridal shower at J Law and it was everything we hoped for. Clara, Megan, and the entire team were attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. The private event space was ideal, spacious, welcoming, and flexible enough for us to personalize with our own decor. The food was delicious. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere made everyone feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another celebration. Thank you, Clara and the J Law team for helping us create such a memorable day!“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“Awesome old school bar-style burgers done right! You can tell they care and use quality ingredients. Cheeseburger with caramelized onions, pickles, and their house sauce (it’s kinda like a chipotle mayo) is the perfect combo. The staff and owners are as nice as can be too.“

The breakfast tacos were super interesting and the breakfast sandwich was made with crispy bacon and your choice of breads/toast, cheese and eggs however you like them. Service was super polite, efficient, and there when you need them. About 8 tables in a modern space with background music that is just a touch loud.“

“Hosted an intimate party for 22 yesterday. The food and service was great. Varied dishes, shrimp over linguini, penne with grilled chicken, eggplant parm, hanger steak, Pan roasted salmon salad and chicken marsala all were delicious, served hot and all came out within minutes of the others.“

My server's name was Tisha and she was honestly one of the best server's I've ever meet. “We’d flown across the continent from Vancouver to New York, and drove up from Midtown to New Canaan to see something quieter. The moment we parked on Elm Street, it felt like the right destination. The name might belong to old horror movies, but the street was nothing but calm. My wife called it “cute” about a thousand times, and she wasn’t wrong.

We walked the shops, stepped in and out of small storefronts, and followed a narrow back alley when hunger finally caught up with us. That’s how we found Back End — tucked away, sunny, and exactly where it needed to be. The November air was cold, but the day had a clear sky that made everything feel sharp and clean.

Service was friendly and quick. The room had an easy rhythm — warm decor, high stools, tight tables. A space used well. Fun without being loud, relaxed without slowing down. Sometimes you stumble onto a place that matches your mood perfectly. This was one of those.

We shared tacos, Nonna's meatballs, and chicken dumplings. Every plate landed. Simple dishes done right, seasoned with confidence. Nothing heavy, nothing forced — the kind of food that keeps a conversation moving and a day on track.

“I've eaten buffalo cauliflower at almost every restaurant that offers it in CT. I can confidently say, this place has the best buffalo cauliflower in the entire state. The pickle juice martini was absolutely delicious. The Patty Melt was NEXT LEVEL. Quality restaurants are harder and harder to come by. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I sat in the bar at a table and the bar tender was VERY attentive, even though it was Friday at Happy Hour. The atmosphere is themed and fun. I cannot say enough good things about this place.“

“A real gem just over the New Canaan CT line in Vista NY, a tiny hamlet in the town of Lewisboro in Westchester County. Family owned and operated for decades, this restaurant serves a great selection of meats, fish and Italian food, all perfectly prepared. Sons are the waiters with perfect attitudes and personalities and very attentive performance. Indoor/outdoor dining and a fireplace enhance the experience. “I’m not from CT but this is the Applebees I will be coming to. NY Locations aren’t this happy and caring. The manager Jessica was on top of everything. I’m a girls girl and I was amazed how she’s a manager, waitress and a bartender. That’s what we call a triple threat. Her employees are so helpful towards one another and to the customers. I felt the love and how they treat each other as if they were family. I will be back and will continue driving an hour up to the Danbury location.“

“Great place for family and friends to get a meal, catch a game. Management was very generous with accommodating to ensure everyone go to see the game they requested. The food was great.....lemon pepper wings, burgers, steak fries. My favorite was the cheesesteak egg rolls! The bar features a couple of signature cocktails but I had the caribbean sangria, worth a taste!“

“For a restaurant that is so close to 5 star you can literally taste it. They definitely try hard to give you a perfect dining experience and that's commendable. The shock factor for this establishment was it's loud and partitions or background music isn't going to change that, so you lose a bit of intimacy. However if it's decent quisine you are looking for you may be in the right spot. The breaded and fried chicken was good and done correctly however the panko was retaining the flavor of the oil rather than it's own. The brussel sprouts were good but honestly it can do without the bacon bits(that were really hard for some reason). Too many minor nuance's for a five star but I believe the potential is there!“
