“The food was delicious, their French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had and my wife loved her salad. For dinner I had the ribeye, which had great aged flavor and my wife had the pasta special which she loved. On the negatives, the marrow bone in the soup was kind of cold so the marrow was like eating a hunk of cold butter. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was more medium, but everything was still delicious. The noise level was off the charts, it’s a busy bar and was as loud as a frat party, that was annoying.“

The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. “If you're planning on holding an event I cannot recommend Carriage House enough! I just had my mom's surprise birthday party there and Steve was great to work with and incredibly accommodating. He made great cocktails, and recommended things off the menu which were great. We will be back again. The food is delicious. Husband ordered scallops for dinner and I ordered fish and chips. I knocked down the review by a peg simply because our server was a constant presence. She was polite and nice but we didn't need her asking every 3-5 minutes how the food was. The reason for the four stars is that service here is exceptionally slow. In fact there's a full chalkboard up in the front asking people not to get nasty to be nice to the servers, etc. I can see why. The kitchen is very tiny. This place is always packed. The menu is far too long for a place with such a small kitchen. They should go with their best Sellers eliminate all the thousands of ingredients they need to make all these different items that they feature and just get out there. Wonderful fabulous food. My sister and I came at 10:15 a.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was full, but we were seated fairly quickly. Once we ordered at 10:27 coffee and a biscotti were brought right away. “We came here for the first time tonight, we've been wanting to come in for a while now. The place, in my opinion, is beautiful! Really quite lovely. However, I am a vegetarian and there was next to nothing, besides salads and pizza to eat. Not even a pasta dish. So that was disappointing. They have a fairly substantial menu, I think they need to adjust it and add some meatless options. My wife had the porkchops and loved them. The service was very good as well. “Making a delivery for Uber which is funny I came to this place for the first time. Looking around I knew that this was a place I wanted to try. So I went back and how amazing is the food. A healthy option for good. I came here twice already and did the hamburger the first time and it was so good. The staff is friendly and always have a smile to help seat and serve you. The food came on time and hot. The second time I went then I had the chicken sliders and man oh man so flavorful. This is a place I would recommend and also take my family to for any function.“
