“Found this gem when our truck was low on electrons. It's in a plaza flanked by a Carvel and a Dunkin. We really enjoyed the Calamari Twists. They were wonderfully seasoned and crispy. Tried the special, Lobster Tail Fra Diavolo, it had some bite! The spice was primarily in the pasta and sauce, the lobster was tender and flavorful. The other entree we tried was also a weekend special, the sliced Filet w/ Carmelized Onions. Here again, tender and flavorful. This was the first time we were here with the entire family and the kids got the MPI Burger and the Ribs. Both of those were gone before I could get a bite, but I speak from experience on the burger, it's a great one! And I got slapped away when I went for a scrap of rib. My guess; that's means it was awesome. Full bar so, we went for the IPA's. Joe at the bar gets me my drinks for a reasonable price and I'm glad to pay it because I'd like this place to be around for a long time. Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do.“

“Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. You can have a delicious meal a la carte or the tasting menu. I could not convince my husband to do the 15 course chef's tasting menu. But we did do the tasting menu with wine. Every dish was light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the wine pairings which were different (portuguese and spanish wines rounded out some American and South African wines). I am excited to come back to try more of their traditional menu and their namesake (fish and chips). Well worth a visit.“

He prepares duck confit as good as any I have had in Paris, schnitzel just like I had at the best restaurants in Vienna, and the best Latkes I have ever had. His number two guy, William, does an outstanding job of walking you through the menu, finding out what your tastes are, and matching you with the best dish to suit your taste. Joe also finds the freshest fish and makes monkfish and sole that is always the highlight of my day. “We came here for the first time tonight, we've been wanting to come in for a while now. The place, in my opinion, is beautiful! Really quite lovely. However, I am a vegetarian and there was next to nothing, besides salads and pizza to eat. Not even a pasta dish. So that was disappointing. They have a fairly substantial menu, I think they need to adjust it and add some meatless options. My wife had the porkchops and loved them. The service was very good as well. I would return, I just wouldn't go super hungry so that a few sides would do the trick. Lovely ambiance. I recommend overall.“

Mary had taken my information on the phone and all was prepared when we arrived. Her greeting and treatment of us made my guests think we were special indeed despite my never having met her before. My husband is in a wheelchair and special attention was paid to where we were seated so that all were comfortable. The table, near the front window, was spacious and comfortable with wonderful lighting. The food was excellent as it always is. We had two of the special appetizers, the asparagus soup and the artichokes which were very good. For dessert, management provided a chocolate bread pudding with a candle which we proceeded to devour. Didn't have time to take a picture, because we ate it so fast. By prearrangement, the bill never came. Mary simply pressed the receipt into my hand as she handed me my take "home bag". My children were truly surprised by the seamless exchange. MENU: Three choices on our group menu: sliced steak, chicken marsala, or broiled salmon. The sides were rice or garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The waitress was thorough and pleasant- she assured that my food did not have any garlic or onion products on it. “This is the second time we have been there. Both experiences were very good. the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we were there for an early dinner. This time we ordered the mixed grill for two. Included were American rib lamb chops, shrimp, sausage, and meatballs. It was delicious and there was plenty of it. The soup of the day was a carrot soup, very tasty. we finished with tea and coffee as there was no room for dessert. We'll definitely go back.“
