“What a cute place for lunch. My daughter and I had lunch after visiting a local POI. We both enjoyed our meals at an outside table. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely go back. They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.“

We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. I ordered the chicken shawarma, the lamb gyro, and the classic hummus, and every single item exceeded my expectations. The chicken shawarma was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The lamb gyro was tender, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

But the real surprise was the classic hummus—it was out of this world! Smooth, creamy, incredibly fresh, and easily one of the best I've ever had.

You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I'll definitely be coming back!“

“We went to the Applebee's in New Rochelle today. We were met by Warren who is one of the managers. He was friendly and took us to our table. We explained about a problem that we had at Applebee's at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway at the beginning of July. He apologized and said that the incident would not happen here. He then introduced us to Mariama who was our waitress. She introduced herself to us and was very friendly and efficient. She took our orders and everything came out perfectly. She stayed attentive the entire time. When it came time for the check Warren brought it and comped the entire meal and drinks. We told him that it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. We will definitely return to this establishment often“

“I had a fantastic experience here on Beekman Ave. Everything we ordered arrived perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. The burger was served in a fun checkered paper basket and the crispy fries were seasoned generously with fresh green herbs.

We finished the meal with a decadent slice of chocolate cake topped with a perfect swirl of frosting and a side of ice cream. It was a wonderful treat. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.“

“My wife and I arrived in Tarrytown for a family wedding too late for lunch and several hours early for an 8 pm welcome reception, so along with my sister and her husband, we decided to go out for some light eats to hold us over. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Pete's Saloon.

The vibe was a step back into the past. In a good way. It's a welcoming place -- the kind of local bar and grill where regulars gather for good food, good friends, cold drinks and (from the looks of the drum kit set up in the back of the room) some great live music.

As for the food, it definitely hit the spot. My wife had a bowl of french onion soup and I had the fried chicken sliders with a tangy Korean BBQ sauce and tater tots. My sister had the baked potato soup while my brother-in-law had the fried chicken sliders with Buffalo sauce. The beer was cold, our server Kim was intentive and friendly and the experience was a great start for an enjoyable weekend with family and friends!“

Michael is the best owner in the world I ever met - so fun to be around and cares about the community. “Silver Lake is a great cafe! The food, atmosphere, and service is outstanding, and the place is very clean and well kept every time I’ve been. I got the #3 which is a Smoked Turkey Hero, and it was super solid and filling. I highly recommend swapping the mayo with chipotle mayo — it was amazing and added a lot of flavor. Maybe even get some extra chipotle mayo on the side. I approve!“
