“Black Cat Cafe was awesome! Came in just as they were opening on a Sunday morning with my 2 year old. Service was great, and the person working was very accommodating of the young kid. Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then checking out the framers market just up the hill. Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. Also, other patrons were not put off by the presence of a young kid.“
“This place has fabulous kofta! The dinner platter comes with beautifully seasoned rice, hummus, tabouleh, and roast onions and pepper. Came with pita. My DC has the lamb kabob, which he enjoyed. I'll return when the kofta craving hits!“
“An absolutely abundant amount of choices, that All sound so delicious. What an incredibly unique menu. We were definitely overwhelmed on what to have. We had the taco Birria pancakes and mozzarella stick hamburger with mozzarella cheese fries. Both were delicious. The service was great, even though we got there just before closing, they didn't rush us. The inside reminds me of a 50's style dinner, so cool. We can't wait to go back and try other things with friends. Highly recommend if you like unique and creative foods.“
“Izzy was my waiter and host- very welcoming, helpful, and professional. As great and fresh as the food was, Izzy definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better. The food was authentic, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. Baklava was light and flaky- the vanilla ice cream accompanying it had crushed pistachios on top- really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked by some clients. Shows a real pride in their food and service.Decor was of a bistro and had ample space. I did not feel crowded by other tables or patrons.Glad I happened on this restaurant. I will definitely be back again soon.Parking: 100+Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor access directl from parking lot which had well over 100 spaces shared between the strip mall.“
“I went here for lunch on a week day with a friend. The staff immediately helped us with the door because I'm in a wheelchair. The place was pretty empty except for a group of old men in their seventies and eighties. I ordered the veal meatballs and the fig and goat cheese flatbread which was exquisite. They have a fantastic drink menu and their service is impeccable!“
“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Freddy's Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The retro-style atmosphere immediately caught my attention upon entering the restaurant. The owners, Matt and Christina, have truly created a unique and inviting ambiance. To start off our evening, my wife and I decided to indulge in some delicious cocktails. She opted for the spicy martini, which packed a flavorful punch, while I enjoyed a classic old-fashioned that was expertly crafted. For appetizers, I couldn't resist trying the deviled eggs, and they were absolutely divine. The creamy filling and perfectly seasoned eggs left me wanting more. My wife decided to go for the French onion soup, and it was nothing short of amazing. The rich flavors and melted cheese on top created a perfect harmony of tastes.Moving on to the main course, I decided to try their burger, but without the bun. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. But what really took it to another level was the sweet bacon jam topping. It added a delightful twist to the classic burger and left me speechless. My wife opted for the French onion short ribs, and I must say, it was a game-changer. The tenderness of the meat combined with the unique flavors of the French onion sauce created a taste sensation like nothing we had ever experienced before.Overall, Freddy's Restaurant is a must-visit for any food lover. The culinary skills of Chef Matt are truly exceptional, and the attention to detail in every dish is evident. I wish I could give this place 10 stars because it deserves every bit of praise. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at Freddy's Restaurant and indulge in a culinary journey that will leave your taste buds begging for more.“
“When you travel, you seek to find outstanding restaurants. Sometimes you win, other times, you don't. The Hudson House is a great find, a winner at every turn! From our initial greeting by the owner, Matt, to the great staff who didn't miss a beat, to the most critical part, the food, there wasn't a moment of regret. We started with a couple of tables shares. We had cheese plate with 3 cheeses, homemade fig jam to die for, fresh thinly sliced honeycrisp apples, delicious grapes, and an oil-infused crustini. Perfect start, followed by the burrata and pumpkin seed salad with carmelized pears and sweet potato chunks. I didn't think it could get better after this. I tried the sweet potato and fennel soup, very warm and hearty on a cold night, and the taste was just as I hoped! A beet and farro salad with radishes hit the mark! My partner had a fresh halibut that was cooked to perfection, served on ramen noodles and baby bok choy, with an array of fresh mushrooms, with a gentle but flavorful broth, but not enough to be called soup. To me, one of the best fish dishes I've tasted in a long time. Our guests, the wedding couple, ordered duck breast confit, and hanger steak. The duck, one of her favorites, was tender, most, cooked properly and seasoned well. It was a hit with her and her mother. The hanger steak was the choice of the groom, a very picky eater. He couldn't stop reaching about how amazing it was! Sadly, we were so full, we couldn't eat dessert. All the desserts are homemade by the owner, and they sounded unbelievable. But I'll have to return another time to speak to them. Finally, ask to sit in the jail cell. The pictures tell only some of the story. It's a wine cellar, a hidden romantic getaway, a reprise of days long gone. Or have a seat at the bar with the locals. Or just come and see the beautiful tin ceiling and walls. No matter what you do here, you won't be disappointed.“
“Rockwell's American Restaurant in Pelham, NY is an absolute gem! Imagine stepping into a culinary wonderland where every dish tells a story of flavor and passion. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Picture this: savory, tender, juicy burgers cooked to perfection, indulging in mouthwatering seafood dishes bursting with freshness, and treating yourself to decadent desserts that leave you craving more. The ambiance? Elegant yet inviting, perfect for date nights or catching up with friends. With its innovative twists on classic American cuisine and commitment to quality, Rockwell's is a culinary destination that'll leave you counting down the days until your next visit. Trust me, Rockwell's is where culinary dreams come true!“
“I don't leave reviews too often, but AJ's deserves it. Excellent burgers, excellent sides and they have, by far, the coldest beer in New Rochelle. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. 5/5 stars. Come here, you won't regret it.“
“I realize this is arguably damming with faint praise, but clearly the best restaurant in Yonkers/Western Westchester county below the Cuomo bridge. High quality ingredients, well-prepared. Excellent service plus a nice view of the water -- at least before dark. Compares favorably to some of the better Manhattan restaurants. To be sure, is it as good as say, Le Bernardin or Jean Georges? Of course not. But you'll get a first-class dining experience for probably half the price, without the hassle of traffic and parking.“
“PCC had our 50th Anniversary Celebration at The Thorn- we had the best time! Tonin and all employees were wonderful, kind, easy to work with and responded quickly and clearly to all questions pertaining to our large event. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and beautiful! We had the garage door open and it was so nice. Definitely recommend The Thorn for a party or corporate event! You won't be disappointed.“
“Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. We each enjoyed a special cocktail, and appetizers of delicious cauliflower and truffle pizza and popcorn shrimp (complete with tiny crumbles of popcorn!) We then really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and cucumber and broccoli entre salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Very fine experience. Look forward to returning soon.“
“We tried the Zinger & Hella Juicy burgers, Fries with Garlic sauce and Spicy Fries. We were amazed with the quantity and quality of food.Topped it up with Fried Orio ice cream, again absolutely on spot.It is a small takeout place with a 10 seating spots. After tasting the food I wasn’t surprised to find that the owner is a five star banquet chef with very high aspirations.“
“I came since I was freshman with my brother and still go now with my friend and we both love the food and drink and all the varieties of chips and snacks almost makes me indecisive on what to pick since there's so many options. Would go there everytime!“
“Food is great Vietnamese pork on a brioche roll was very good, as was the Asian glazed salmon. Only negatives were that my party of 5 was seated in the beer garden when there were booths available in the main restaurant and the waiter had the personality of the wooden fence around the place, he definitely did not want to be at work today. Also took forever to get our drinks, and food was brought out by the kitchen staff so besides taking the order and refilling water I don’t really know what his purpose was. I’d eat here again but if service was poor again I’d drop this place to 3 stars. Also there is no bridge view, there’s a high rise construction view ?“
“I’ve *always* and will forever love this place and the staff there. Many years ago, my friend Jon and I went for lunch and not only was the food so delicious and comforting, we were given a free drink and lovely vibes. Today, I went back and he remembered me and gave me a hug and I bought a couple of things with elemental gold in it as well as sea moss and it just felt so right to go in and revisit the place. There are some other occasions like events that I went to there and it’s always fun and the food ?? I was offered a treat on the house but I was quite full, but it was really nice to be treated like I was a welcome guest and so for this, always 5 stars!“
“Food was delicious! Waitress was so friendly. Prices are fair. This reminds me of a mom and pop breakfast spot and I was happy to give them my business! Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area! I would definitely return here.“
“Finally went with my wife few weeks ago because we were tired of same old places ...we said we'd go to a new place each week, and came back two weeks later because we enjoyed it so much! We're going again this weekend...a great experience will keep you coming back!“
“The meeting SPOT! Conveniently across from the train ? station ?, close to the bronx River Pkwy. This is the joint! Whether youre dining in, taking out, watching the game or just meeting up with friends. It's perfectly named. The menu is off the charts and the food is wonderful. This bar restaurant needs to be reviewed. Any critic would be tickled to rate this joint. It's a real find.Parking: Whatcha gonna do!Wheelchair accessibility: Very“
“Restaurant X has always been consistently EXCELLENT for decades!! Peter Kelly is the quintessential super chef that ticks every box. He never disappoints so any choice you make will be a successful one! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Cozy environment overall but I especially enjoy the fireplace in the bar area. There's a reason Peter bested Bobby Flay!!“
“I'm going to start with yummy! Another fantastic restaurant in New York. Shared pear salad. omg loved so much that I tried to recreate when I got home. I absolutely loved this salad. Shared burrata as well, again, my goodness freaking delicious. For dinner, I had prime steak and mash, which was also very delicious and a fantastic price!!!“
“Had lunch here on a Wednesday with my aunts. Seafood dishes were delicious. The hot chocolate was ok, a little too sweet for us, but not as rich as we expected. The staff was nice and attentive without being over-bearing. Fine atmosphere for conversation. Would highly recommend for well-prepared foods, excellent service, and relaxing atmosphere.“
“Wowsa what a meal!!! Friends had posted beautiful pics of their meals from their tasting menu. It's cute: half the restaurant is a traditional dining room and the other is take out fish and chips. You can have a delicious meal a la carte or the tasting menu. I could not convince my husband to do the 15 course chef's tasting menu. But we did do the tasting menu with wine. Every dish was light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the wine pairings which were different (portuguese and spanish wines rounded out some American and South African wines). I am excited to come back to try more of their traditional menu and their namesake (fish and chips). Well worth a visit.“
“Food was good. The service was not. Our waitress did not smile much. She was playing with her cell phone when I approached to the service desk with computer and other billing stuff. She name starts with a C.I observed how she treated other customers, she was not warm nor smile either. I told myself, it was not me.“
“First off, what can I say about the wonderful wait staff. The hostess, Ronnie, was top notch sweet! Then my waitress, Eddy, kept offering us water to keep our thirst quenched. I was utterly happy. Then, we ordered their homemade miso soup! What a treat! My favorite part of the meal was their duck ramen. Such a tender feeling of gratitude. A must visit for a wonderful price!“
“Whenever you see the owner behind the counter cooking, good chance the food/service is phenomenal!!! After eating their double bacon Cocina burger I don't feel bloated or sluggish. I feel satisfied! They keep adding deliciousness to the menu. Just tried the mozzarella sticks....OMG was not ready for the crunchy cheesy heaven. They also got the chimi de pernil... Haven't tried it yet but it's next on my list. I already know it will be delightful!!!! No para SIGUE SIGUE. Cocina burger, best burgers in YONKERS!!!!!!!!“
“The atmosphere and service was fantastic, as usual. I must say, the food was not as tasty as previous visits to Underhill. Both the pork chop and roasted chicken (usually my favorite) entrees were dry and skimpy and the salad as a starter was tiny. We definitely got hit with a dose of "shrinkflation".“
“I have been to some great places but this is the best place I've been to in New York, hands down. Every single menu item was AMAZING! Farm to table at its best. And the chef is a super friendly great guy and the waiter was awesome. My new go to spot!“
“Another New York gem. Loved it bar setting again, family and friend orientated. Went 3xs while in New York. Food is on point! The first time I got their special 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and corn very big took some food home. Second time, french onion soup and Eastchester burger with fries. Yummy and third time shared zucchini fries and had the famous burger salad, Eastchester burger on salad with vingarette. I didn't think the vingarette was going to go good on this, but oh my goodness, trust the process!!!!!“
“I had such a great brunch there. The breakfast burger was amazingly delicious. The staff was friendly. Pleasant place to go eat. Then I ended up taking my cousin there for lunch a couple weeks later. I recommend this restaurant to all!“
“My favorite go to. From omelets to sandwiches and everything in between. Fresh and delicious every time. Love it!! Great guys, great chefs. You can order anything and they will prepare it perfectly. Even if it's not on the menu. They have tables and TVs for dining in or just hanging out in a great atmosphere. Definitely worth trying. You won't be disappointed.“
“Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. Absolutely fabulous from start to finish! The staff is warm and friendly yet professional. Eduardo, our server was attentive and on top of everything throughout the course of our dinner. From apps to entrees not a detail was overlooked. Now the food... I can't put into words how the flavors and quality of food are by far top notch. Sooo good!!! This place is a hidden gem and the food, drinks and service is amazing! Definitely will be back!!“
“Amazing service by the staff at Sweet Grass Grill. I was able to visit for lunch and pictured the blood orange margarita, mushroom cheesesteak and chicken sandwich with the kale Caesar. Their beet ketchup was truly amazing. Everything was delicious. The service was super attentive even with a busy lunch rush during the week. Reservations are recommended. Stop by at Sweet Grass for a quick meal and leave feeling satisfied. Looking forward to stopping by again“
“Went for a nice breakfast. Tara was very nice and attentive and quick turnaround on the food. Eggs were good and had flavor. Home fries were properly cooked and delicious, and the waffle had a crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Will definitely recommend but they only accept cash payment.“
“My wife and I have been coming here for the past several years and have never been disappointed with either the food or service. We love the ambiance and chatting with the help, It makes you feel as if you are part of a family. They have a top notch kitchen. Both the regular and specials menu have great offerings and a nice variety. And let's not forget the Guinness,,, It's spot on.“
“Love the updates that UL made to this space! Light and bright w new skylights. My favorite local chef, Jody Hunter, is at the helm making her signature delicious dishes. The Whipped Ricotta with Toasted Spice Oil, Pickled Onions, housemade Focaccia make me feel I am in Italy ❤️“
“Definitely a spot for the locals. Small restaurant with bar, lovely people. The staff were sweet, speedy service. The food was delicious, prices are reasonable. The wings are a favorite. The fries were crispy and fresh. Caesar salad was basic but still good. I will be going back.“
“The food, service, and ambiance are incredible. The live music last night was top quality with a guitar and fiddle player. They re-interpreted a few songs based on their instruments and the volume was perfect! This is my favorite place in New City, great people.“
“I've been to a lot of bagel places through NYC, Jersey, and Westchester, and this little spot is really a great place. Good bagels by themselves, and they also do a good job with putting together their bagel sandwiches as well. Highly recommended!!Vegetarian options: Your standard veg bagel options, and they make a particularly good egg and cheese“
“Great to return to The Turning Point, this time for Bill Kirchen (played with Commander Cody years ago) bringing his rockin' show to Piermont, NY. Easy to park across the street( big lot by the pier and condo complex). Kim was my witness and a delight, best service. Small comfortable room for listening and dinner if you want. Me. Just needed some tasty salsa and chips! Great time was had@“
“The food is delicious! Stopped by the grill house and had delicious chicken shawarma and tabouleh salad. The baba ganoush was excellent with the most amazing falafel I’ve ever had ever! It was moist and so full of flavor! The bronzino was cooked to perfection! The knafeh is ok. This place gets super busy but so worth the time to get the food as it’s made fresh to order.“
“Todays breakfast was enjoyed at The Golden Grill Restaurant in Teaneck, NJ. It's a cute breakfast nook tucked amongst a row stores and shops on a busy road in Teaneck, but the vibe is homey and comfortable. The staff is super down to earth and have this bustling little restaurant working like clockwork. The prices were great and the food was stick to your ribs good. We wound up ordering the following menu items: - chicken noodle soup - corned beef hash with eggs and grits - Smoked ham and eggs - hot chocolate“
“Ill Fresco has it all going for it. Great ambience, great service and really good food. My shrimp parm was as good as I can remember ever having it. My wife's homemade pasta with chicken was delicious. This will earn a coveted spot on our dining rotation.“
“We had a great first experience! Deena and Laura are very attentive and made us feel welcome. It was hard to make a decision with the vast menu, but we both landed on good choices. Here's my Englebert Pumperdink with thick, fresh sliced turkey breast, ham, bacon, onion and tomato. Breaded mushrooms with horseradish sauce are great...and my friend loved his very tender shell/strip steak with an enormous onion ring and a side of mixed sweet potato fries and wedge fries. My favorite though was the side of garlic mash and gravy! Definitely worthy of a trip back to Horsefeathers ☺️“
“I'm surprised that I have been living in the area this long and have not been here until now! Went for the first time today and absolutely loved it. The waitress Melissa was very friendly and helpful. The vibes were as if I were at a rock bar without the drunkards. And the food was incredible! Rony made us the juiciest burgers (even better than what I was craving) and personally came to our table to ask how we were doing. 10/10, definitely recommend!“
“The place is nice, we went to eat but they closed the kitchen at 10 and we arrived at 10:15 but we stayed to drink in the bar area and it gets cool. The drinks are more than 20 and for me it's not worth it. alcohol but it's nice to turn around“
“The variety of different hot dogs is crazy, the menu is huge. Delicious and fun, location has parking unlike the rest of White Plains and the owner is a really nice guy. Puppers are welcome too. Only reason Walters gets any business is because The Dog Den is closed during the winter months.“
“Huuuuuuge Yard House fan - food, atmosphere, beers; awesome. The servers? Pretty hit&miss. Depends on if you like ordering your own stuff or if you need someone to come to your table and order for you. That's why service gets 3* and this place gets an overall 4*. Sometimes you get someone that just comes and refills your water and gets you napkins (which is perfect because food comes directly from the kitchen now) or you get someone who treats you like a child and kills your whole vibe.Best deal at this place: go on a Tuesday between 4:30 and 6, get 50% apps and happy hour. Then walk 50 feet across the mall and go see a $7 movie at AMC with your cheesecake creme brulee you brought with you (which you better clean up and throw out after yourself) then head home nice and sobered up:)“
“I stopped in after an evening rehearsal and was greeted kindly by the bartender. The kitchen was open late and I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and let me tell you they were absolutely scrumptious! The beer on tap was also top notch and the calm ambience was just what I needed after a long day.Highly recommend you stop by and say hi!“
