All there menu items are delicious, prices are fair for the organic rotisserie chicken and the customer service is off the chart, they greet you like it’s always the first you order! “The outdoor courtyard is spacious and lovely. This is an ideal outdoor dining spot. Dishes are well prepared. The shortfall is that the staff - wait staff, servers, and other support staff - are entirely untrained (or so it seems). Really frustrating since the rest of the experience is very good. Please train your staff properly!“

“A welcoming experience if you are visiting the area. There was a bit of a wait (30min for 2) at 8pm, but I would say it is worth it. The atmosphere is just so homey and, well, tavern-y! The staff were very sweet to talk to while waiting outside, and we were served pretty quick as well.

I will say that $20+ for one burger is a bit absurd, but that’s how they get you with the tourist prices. The Smokehouse was perfect however, and I’m still craving the wild-boar disco fries. Come wait here instead of Horsefeathers!“

“The food is really good. My go-to is the quinoa salad with grilled chicken or the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The salad is very refreshing and delicious and the grilled cheese with tomato soup just warms the soul. Their drinks will do what it needs to do lol. “i’m here to tell you the hype is true. The burritos are so freaking good. The sauce is immaculate. I always ask for extra sauce. My favorite is the sausage burrito and the bacon. I usually get both and eat half-and-half and split it with my partner. lol

I usually travel all the way to Brooklyn for a similar type of burrito (santos) and I’m so happy to have found this gem uptown nyc!! (no pic because burrito was inhaled)

The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“First-time diners, in the area for a day hike to see the fall foliage. Entered very hungry. Saturday, middle of the afternoon. A few patrons seated at the bar; a few diners in the restaurant area. Greeted warmly by the bartender and seated immediately. College football on several monitors, and as our time there went on... crowd trickled in. Loaded Baked Potato appetizer, perfectly cooked and crispy. French Dip Panini and Shrimp & Braised Ribs for main courses... both delicious!! Zeppolis and Cappuccino for dessert. We were well looked after by Trina throughout our stay. Music played in the background and games were on the over-the-bar screens, but it never seemed noisy. 10 out of 10... highly recommend!“

Michael is the best owner in the world I ever met - so fun to be around and cares about the community. “Silver Lake is a great cafe! The food, atmosphere, and service is outstanding, and the place is very clean and well kept every time I’ve been. I got the #3 which is a Smoked Turkey Hero, and it was super solid and filling. I highly recommend swapping the mayo with chipotle mayo — it was amazing and added a lot of flavor. Maybe even get some extra chipotle mayo on the side. I approve!“

Wings were perfect hickory sauce, so good I scraped the plate with the carrots and celery! Salad made w/ greens vs. Iceberg. The dill vinegrette complements the salad.
