“I celebrated my birthday with my family here yesterday. I can't praise everyone enough for the kindness, attentiveness and attention to detail. Mary had taken my information on the phone and all was prepared when we arrived. Her greeting and treatment of us made my guests think we were special indeed despite my never having met her before. My husband is in a wheelchair and special attention was paid to where we were seated so that all were comfortable. The table, near the front window, was spacious and comfortable with wonderful lighting. The food was excellent as it always is. We had two of the special appetizers, the asparagus soup and the artichokes which were very good. For dessert, management provided a chocolate bread pudding with a candle which we proceeded to devour. Didn't have time to take a picture, because we ate it so fast. By prearrangement, the bill never came. Mary simply pressed the receipt into my hand as she handed me my take "home bag". My children were truly surprised by the seamless exchange. They had planned to treat 5 stars are inadequate for this restaurant.“
“Very nice neighborhood restaurant. Warm informality. Satisfying portions and everything well prepared. A few tips: ask for bread if not offered, ask about specials if not told, order the apple strudel when you order your food (takes 30 min to make.) General Tso cauliflower is a great appetizer.“
“We used to come here but we were bored by the food. We decided to give it another chance since we lie in Scarsdale. I am glad we did. We like to sit at the bar to eat and we were not disappointed. The bartenders, Roman and Giovanni are fantastic and the food is excellent. We have been here 3 weekends in a row because the bar vibe is so good. I highly recommend the chocolate cake ( ask for chocolate ice cream) and the banana split.“

“Definitely a spot for the locals. Small restaurant with bar, lovely people. The staff were sweet, speedy service. The food was delicious, prices are reasonable. The wings are a favorite. The fries were crispy and fresh. Caesar salad was basic but still good. I will be going back.“
