“Having lived in Riverdale for many years and shopped at Trader Joe across the street, i had never been to Tutta Bella. It might be my new favorite Italian restaurant. The eggplant Parmesan was outstanding. The capellini delicious. Salads generous and plenty to share. Very pretty atmosphere with bougenvilla flowers draped across the place. “To say Liffy Bar II is a hidden gem is an understatement. For my Birthday I wanted a cute local bar to celebrate with friends and enjoy the evening. Kirby was excellent at communicating with me and kept me informed which was incredibly convenient. Dierdre was so pleasant to speak with and answered any questions I had, and Joe was an amazing Bartender and kept everyone happy. Cheers to a great staff. I cannot recommend this place more. “Amazing cocktails and food at this romantic spot in white plains. For cocktails we had a Gatsby and a One Night Stand. Both were delicious. For appetizers, we had the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and the fig jam burrito each of which were exceptional. Our server Edel was wonderful and provided honest, tasty selections. Her attention to detail is to be commended. If you're looking for a memorable, romantic night out, be sure to hit up the Blind Pig.“

I have a beard; looking at the sandwich, I know it's going to be messy; but why are you forcing me to stick my fingers in a puddle of gochujang sauce right off the bat?

The cocktails were on the pricey side but worth it if you're looking for something beyond the basics. The bartender was knowledgeable and skilled. The environment was low key and pleasant. To find it, go in the unmarked wooden door on the way up to the train tracks. Definitely worthwhile and a place I will come back to when I am in the area.“

“My wife and I arrived in Tarrytown for a family wedding too late for lunch and several hours early for an 8 pm welcome reception, so along with my sister and her husband, we decided to go out for some light eats to hold us over. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Pete's Saloon.

The vibe was a step back into the past. In a good way. It's a welcoming place -- the kind of local bar and grill where regulars gather for good food, good friends, cold drinks and (from the looks of the drum kit set up in the back of the room) some great live music.

As for the food, it definitely hit the spot. My wife had a bowl of french onion soup and I had the fried chicken sliders with a tangy Korean BBQ sauce and tater tots. My sister had the baked potato soup while my brother-in-law had the fried chicken sliders with Buffalo sauce. The beer was cold, our server Kim was intentive and friendly and the experience was a great start for an enjoyable weekend with family and friends!“
