First of all… The entrance to The Blind Pig is stunning. And the decor is gorgeous. Takes you back into colonial days or even earlier. There’s no other way for me to explain it. Just genius Beautiful artifacts with gorgeous sitting and an electric fire place along with walls filled of stunning 1800s art and style. The servers are very well dressed with a vest and tie. Very nice touch and they are super attentive. This was our very first time here and it was way over and beyond our expectations for sure. We ordered our drinks… Just delicious… I am old school, so I ordered an Old Fashion. Was done to perfection. Let me repeat that… PERFECTION.

After watching my buddy enjoy the hell out of his purple drink… I just had to order one. Wow… That was unbelievable. The next time I come back to this restaurant. I WILL book a room around the corner, because I will be having a “few” of those and won’t make it home, lol! As far as the food. Just Spectacular. Very nice portions with a nice presentation. The atmosphere is just gorgeous. I included pictures.

The owner also owns a bar called “The Crooked Quill.” Which is literally across the street from The Blind Pig. BEAUTIFUL… We crossed the street and took the rest of the party there. WOW… Elegant place for the elegant person. Will be now one of my favorites or possibly my favorite in White Plains. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

“Wish I had taken pictures. The Korean Fried Chicken sandwich may be in the top 3 chicken sandwiches of my life, except for it sitting in a bed of sauce. I have a beard; looking at the sandwich, I know it's going to be messy; but why are you forcing me to stick my fingers in a puddle of gochujang sauce right off the bat?

Anyways, staff was friendly, food was great, atmosphere fun like you walked into a cocktail bar off of Belle's library. Highly recommend.“

“First time dinning- first off the pita with cheese and grilled green peppers is an amazing start to the meal. I had an aperol spritz also great to start. For apps we had oysters- was really good but would love if they would add a mignonette. For my main course though the red snapper was FANTASTIC. And the chicken martini was also fantastic. We didn't stay for dessert but will certainly be back, the service was very kind and attentive. The ambiance was nice with the view of the fountain.“

“Stopped in on St. Patrick's day for dinner. Took a little time for a table but not bad. Place was packed, live band playing. Band took a break for a Celtic dance group to put on a show. As packed as it was it still was a reasonable time for service. Potato and bacon soup and a grilled cheese burger was great. Will definitely be back again.“

Came here with the bestie for some foodie therapy and left totally healed.

This location has been many different restaurants over the years. I’m not quite sure when Roof Taco opened however what I loved was how they opened up the top floor and gave us roof access! I don’t think any of the past restaurants have taken advantage of that.

All the servers seem to help each other with their tables, as we had many different people ask us if everything was ok. The annoying part was how many times I had to ward servers off from removing items we were still eating, from our table. It was a little overwhelming, but I did appreciate the fact that if I needed a server, I didn’t have to look far.

I’ll be honest; I can’t remember the names of everything we ate that evening, as I’m writing this review about a month out. However I took some yummy pics below and hopefully this place can stand the test of time, because I totally plan on returning!“

“We went here for cocktails this evening and it was an excellent find. The cocktail menu was extensive and interesting. We enjoyed everything we had. The cocktails were on the pricey side but worth it if you're looking for something beyond the basics. The bartender was knowledgeable and skilled. The environment was low key and pleasant. To find it, go in the unmarked wooden door on the way up to the train tracks. Definitely worthwhile and a place I will come back to when I am in the area.“

“My wife and I arrived in Tarrytown for a family wedding too late for lunch and several hours early for an 8 pm welcome reception, so along with my sister and her husband, we decided to go out for some light eats to hold us over. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Pete's Saloon.

We loved it immediately.

The vibe was a step back into the past. In a good way. It's a welcoming place -- the kind of local bar and grill where regulars gather for good food, good friends, cold drinks and (from the looks of the drum kit set up in the back of the room) some great live music.

As for the food, it definitely hit the spot. My wife had a bowl of french onion soup and I had the fried chicken sliders with a tangy Korean BBQ sauce and tater tots.
