For appetizers, we had the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and the fig jam burrito each of which were exceptional. Our server Edel was wonderful and provided honest, tasty selections. “Wish I had taken pictures. The Korean Fried Chicken sandwich may be in the top 3 chicken sandwiches of my life, except for it sitting in a bed of sauce. I have a beard; looking at the sandwich, I know it's going to be messy; but why are you forcing me to stick my fingers in a puddle of gochujang sauce right off the bat?

“My husband and I recently hosted our baby shower for our first baby at Flinder's last weekend (3/21/26), and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. We hosted roughly 55 people and utilized the entire restaurant for our private event (restaurant buyout). From the onset, Ross and Eric (Mgr. + Assistant Mgr.) were incredibly friendly, responsive to all my questions via email, and agreed to meet not once, but TWICE in-person to ensure all details were accounted for, and that our requests would be accommodated. The event ran smoothly because of their professionalism and attention to detail. During the event, the kitchen, bar, and wait staff were incredibly attentive, kind, friendly, and honestly felt like part of the party the entire time. Our family and friends raved about the entire experience, including the service, the food, and the configuration of the space. We left smiling from ear-to-ear, and are incredibly grateful to everyone at Flinder's for helping to make our baby shower a great success!“

“I’ve been going to Don Rene for dinner and after-hours drinks for the past seven years, and I’ve celebrated five or six of my birthday parties there. I love it and recommend it to everyone. It’s a beautiful place, the music is great, and they have some of the hottest DJs. The food is delicious, the drinks are nice and strong, and the staff is great. I’ve never had a single issue. If you’re looking to have a great time, I definitely recommend Don Rene to everyone.“

“Bar attached to the Sonesta White Plains hotel. Limited option for drinks and food, but they are nominally priced when compared to other restaurants nearby. I had steak, it was perfectly cooked and sumptuous. And had egg benedict for breakfast, all tastes good.“

For apps we had oysters- was really good but would love if they would add a mignonette. For my main course though the red snapper was FANTASTIC. And the chicken martini was also fantastic. This is a gem on High Ridge road I wish I had discovered sooner. Menu selections are excellent and their offerings for restaurant week were wonderful, also a nod for honoring the promotional menu on a Saturday night which apparently isn't easy to find. Portion sizes of appetizes: Caesar salad, escargot and mix green salads all wonderful. Entrees of Chicken parm over linguini, Roasted Pork Chop and Crispy Skin Salomon all were of generous size cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. A bit more of the wonderful marinara sauce would have been great for the chicken parm. Service was a bit delayed as they were very busy, but our server was always wonderful, pleasant and very helpful! Overall experience truly outstanding and we are looking forward to visiting again and partaking in the full menu. Once again, I am happy to have discovered this restaurant which is partly what I enjoy restaurant week for...trying new places. I encourage you to try The Ridges as well!“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. “Nothing cures sadness quite like tacos, am I right??

Came here with the bestie for some foodie therapy and left totally healed.

This location has been many different restaurants over the years. I’m not quite sure when Roof Taco opened however what I loved was how they opened up the top floor and gave us roof access! I don’t think any of the past restaurants have taken advantage of that.

All the servers seem to help each other with their tables, as we had many different people ask us if everything was ok. The annoying part was how many times I had to ward servers off from removing items we were still eating, from our table. It was a little overwhelming, but I did appreciate the fact that if I needed a server, I didn’t have to look far.

I’ll be honest; I can’t remember the names of everything we ate that evening, as I’m writing this review about a month out. However I took some yummy pics below and hopefully this place can stand the test of time, because I totally plan on returning!“

“This place did not disappoint. As someone new to Stamford’s food scene, I was looking for somewhere with an easygoing yet slightly upscale atmosphere. “I was a vit skeptical at the beginning after reading all of the bad reviews, but as a Peruvian I approve! The food of course can't be compared to a meal from a mercado in Lima or from Miami, but this location has done well. I ordered the ceviche and my aunt had a tamal and papa a la huancaina.
Everything came within 10 minutes and food was delicious, again don't expect a lot, but it is better than your average peruvian restaurant in the US“
