My steak sandwich was cooked to order - medium rare, and tender - but was under-seasoned and the bun served on was plain. I.e., steak, onions, and cheese on plain bread which, given how great the rest was, came as a surprise.

Overall I gladly recommend; just avoid the steak sandwich.“

“I first visited this restaurant when they opened in 2016. A decade later, I happened to be visiting the area and stopped off here for lunch with my boyfriend. I can honestly say this place hasn't lost their touch.
The restaurant is dark and cozy with a fireplace in the back, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or nice lunch. The servers are all well-versed in the menu items and oyster selection. The restaurant usually has some great specials that are always worth trying out.
This visit was somewhat brief so we only got mains. The special of the day was swordfish. They offer the option to choose your prep style so we each got the swordfish; I tried the lemon butter sauce and my boyfriend got the red pepper sauce. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We also shared a side of the grilled asparagus which was perfectly cooked.
A solid 10/10. Highly recommended for any foodies as this place also has some fantastic non-seafood options.“

“This manager was horrible. Incredibly rude and ruined my night. She had an issue for no reason at all and completely lashed out on me. It also seems she didn’t nothing productive as she was watching the game the whole night and not working while the waiters and servers ran around actually making the bar function. She should be replaced instantly and contributes nothing to this place

“My lunch was excellent the Citrus Lime Salad with skirt steak perfectly cooked medium and so tender. The salad wasn't overly dressed. My daughter had the cheese tortellini pasta she said the sauce was too sweet. The views from the dining room were great. We entered during a rush period so the service was a little slow and it was a little chilly in the dining room. Overall a great lunch!“

“I was so happy to see that Fair Deal Cafe on Mamaroneck Avenue reopened. I was so upset when they closed. I drove by last week and saw the lights on. Sure enough, they are back and even better, under the original ownership. We just got our Italian combo fix today. One of the best in Westchester County. It's more diner style now but of course they still offer take out and delivery. Stop by and give them a try!“

“Lilly’s was great! The cocktail “Lilly May” was phenomenal. We also got pizza and it tasted good. The dim lights set the mood for a date night. The service was great. Our bartender checked on us various times and served great drinks.“

“I have eaten at La Provence many times and always have a good experience. The food is very good, especially their signature frozen yogurt. The ambiance is lovely and comfortable, and they never rush you out, so it's conducive to schmoozing and catching up with friends.“

“Stopped in on St. Patrick's day for dinner. Took a little time for a table but not bad. Place was packed, live band playing. Band took a break for a Celtic dance group to put on a show. As packed as it was it still was a reasonable time for service. Potato and bacon soup and a grilled cheese burger was great. Will definitely be back again.“
