“Went for lunch on a random Monday and had the prefix menu, which was absolutely exquisite. Fresh flavors, great portions, everything and I mean everything was just exquisite. I must stop if you find yourself in Irvington, and order a couple times a week if you’re fortunate enough to live there! This place is that good.”

“This will become your go to place for BBQ! Highly recommend. We had some amazing food. Pastrami is my go to and I have had it at over 50 places this was a favorite. Everything is homemade and you can tell the chef is passionate!! All sauces served on the side so you can choose your own sauce adventure. I never thought I would be equally as excited about ketchup as I was the fries but here we are. It was so laid back and there was no pressure! This place has very knowledgeable staff. I can’t wait to go back and eat again.”

“First met Danny & his family at their restaurant in Upper Nyack, Casa del Mare. It was our hometown favorite & sad when they closed. THEN we found him here, in Irvington! No place better for pizza, garlic knots & many other favorites. They treat you like family & are always happy to see their Rockland families. It’s worth the trip over the TZ Bridge!! “Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us”

“This restaurant is absolutely the best. Ohan and Mourad are so kind and hospitable. All of the food is spectacular, but the chicken shawarma, baba ganouj, muhamarra, basil hummus and stuffed grape leaves are truly something special in my opinion. They make everything fresh and the flavors are incredible. Whenever I'm in Irvington my friends and family request that I pick up extra. We have also ordered catering for multiple Christmas parties and the platters are always LICKED CLEAN! We order chicken shawarma over rice, hummus platter, stuffed grape leaves, and mediterranean salad platter and our guests absolutely rave about the food. Would recommend a million times over.”

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.”

“Used to go the Mount Vernon shop when I was a kid, then after the fire and they moved to the Bronx..followed them down there- EVEN when the current owner bought from the gentile older man from MV... "Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. Brave the parking situation. DO IT, you will not regret it!”
