“Went for lunch on a random Monday and had the prefix menu, which was absolutely exquisite. Fresh flavors, great portions, everything and I mean everything was just exquisite. I must stop if you find yourself in Irvington, and order a couple times a week if you’re fortunate enough to live there! This place is that good.”

“This will become your go to place for BBQ! Highly recommend. We had some amazing food. Pastrami is my go to and I have had it at over 50 places this was a favorite. Everything is homemade and you can tell the chef is passionate!! All sauces served on the side so you can choose your own sauce adventure. I never thought I would be equally as excited about ketchup as I was the fries but here we are. It was so laid back and there was no pressure! This place has very knowledgeable staff. I can’t wait to go back and eat again.”

“What a cute place for lunch. My daughter and I had lunch after visiting a local POI. We both enjoyed our meals at an outside table. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely go back. They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.”

“First met Danny & his family at their restaurant in Upper Nyack, Casa del Mare. It was our hometown favorite & sad when they closed. THEN we found him here, in Irvington! No place better for pizza, garlic knots & many other favorites. They treat you like family & are always happy to see their Rockland families. It’s worth the trip over the TZ Bridge!! Go & see for yourself! 5 stars for sure!!”

“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us”

I've gotten a dozen different things here, and every time they've been unfailingly cheap, fast and delicious.”

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.”

I ordered the chicken shawarma, the lamb gyro, and the classic hummus, and every single item exceeded my expectations. The chicken shawarma was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The lamb gyro was tender, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

But the real surprise was the classic hummus—it was out of this world! Smooth, creamy, incredibly fresh, and easily one of the best I've ever had.

You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I'll definitely be coming back!”
