Beautiful inn , delicious restaurant
We enjoyed the food very much, good quality and delicious flavors. The cocktails are what take my review from 4-star to 5. It’s very rare to find a place that has stellar food and equally impressive cocktails. If you have room for dessert, try the sticky toffee pudding, it is worth every bite! The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere was a little hoity-toity but that’s to be expected for the area. Would absolutely go back!
Everything was delicious, but honestly? The mushroom toast stole the show. We actually ended up ordering it for a savory dessert because it was just that perfect - a total banger. The fish with the chouchou was amazing, too, but that toast is what I’m going to be dreaming about.
On top of the food, the service was top-tier. Jason made the night feel so special, everyone should be lucky enough to have him as their server. Can't wait to come back!

Bedford Post Tavern offers a delicious and amazing meal with exquisite presentation. The food is homemade and clearly made with love. For dinner, the Roasted Chicken with watercress and the Butter Brown Spinach Ravioli are amazing. Appetizers like the Tuna Carpaccio, Oysters on the half shell, and a huge hot popover with honey butter are mouthwatering. The Crab Cake is one of the best, with fresh crab and a light tarter sauce. Desserts are a scrumptious ending, with delicious Chocolate Sorbet, Toasted Almond Ice cream, and fresh baked warm cookies with milk. The service is awesome, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is great. The manager is especially welcoming. It is a great experience and guests can't wait to come back.
