“The atmosphere was truly amazing, it really felt like such a cozy store and a great selection of books. The foods are definitely a bit pricey and the art supplies are very expensive, good snacks and drinks, I really recommend the pastries, definitely a Katonah favorite.Vegetarian options: There are meat options but there are still really good salads and pastries as well and sandwiches you can find good snacks and drinks as well, maybe not perfect for vegans though.Dietary restrictions: They ask you before any order about allergies, they are very good about health and safetyParking: There’s a lot in the back and as the owners say, please park in their side of the lot and not the spot next door.Kid-friendliness: They have kids books and a small toys section, definitely a kid friendly spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it isn’t the most wheelchair friendly area, there are front steps to the store and I think there are back steps as well, there is also shopping upstairs so maybe not.”

“It had been quite some time since I’d been here and the food was just as delicious as I remembered!Our group ordered Clams, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, Bow tie pasta with Pesto sauce, and an Arrabbiata pasta that was not on the menu.The pesto dish was practically licked clean . It was a large portion eaten by a tiny friend who seldom finishes her plate . The fact that she she managed to devour the entire plate speaks volumes as to the flavor.. I have to admit that I stole a piece of two because it looked so delicious .I ordered the Arrabiata, which was perfectly spiced. I think each and everyone of us enjoyed our food equally.The staff was perfect. They were very attentive, without being intrusive.I had to take a star away from the atmosphere simply because the overhead heaters in the patio area became too hot, and while they were incredibly accommodating in turning them off, it became too cold. Had they been adjustable heaters it would’ve been fine. Looking forward to coming back during the spring months and sampling more of the menu..”

“Whenever I visit my friend in Westchester county, I always make her drive me the hour to Katonah just for LMNOP bakery! I love the baguette sandwiches and the large loaves to take home. The ambiance is so lovely, a great place to have a relaxing lunch.I took a sourdough class from her when she worked out of her house, which was also amazing.”

“This is our 2nd time at this restaurant. This time around, a late brunch. Downtown Katonah is quite popular on beautiful Sunday mornings and we were going to a concert at the Caramoor later in the afternoon. So if you don't have a reservation at the brunch places, you are out of luck. I really wanted eggs this day but lunch was the only option late in the game. I did remember that this restaurant had a full bar so, why not. It was a cold day so a hot Sake sounded like a good idea. This place is usually standing room only at night but just after 12:30pm it was almost empty. I didn't realize I was "hangry" so I ordered an entree because I knew it would come with soup. My husband was in his element with sushi rolls and a side of pan-fried gyoza. We also requested some adult beverages. I ordered a cocktail...pomegranate Prosecco. It was a beautiful ruby color when it arrived, forgetting about the sake.... When our entrees arrived (pretty quickly, I may add), my eyes grew big as the giant tempura plate came. Everything was sizzling hot! 5 pieces of giant shrimp with some surprises; asparagus & butternut squash, in addition to the yummy usuals. I was so glad that my husband was there to help me finish. Fried food isn't appetizing as a to-go item. I was full and then some. Service was moderately quick, but as the restaurant began filling up, I was glad that we were among the "early" customers. I noticed that service was slowing down a bit. However, it was Sunday afternoon. I imagine the rest of the crew will be in for the dinner crowd. Oh did I mention that their take-out service is also quite busy? It's an indication that they're quite popular in the neighborhood.”

“This is such a great place!! My wife and I go frequently throughout the year. We love especially when it is warmer and we are able to eat outside. The setting is amazing in a quaint little town setting right across from the Metro-North Kathonah station. The staff is very friendly and they have a very nice assortment of food. You will definitely enjoy this place and the food prices are quite good. Enjoy!!”

“The next stop on my CertaPro Painters Pizza challenge was Amores in Katonah. Lots of options in the display case. I went with the meat lovers and the caprese. Cookies JUST came out of the oven and the place smelled amazing. Had to grab me one of those. Staff was friendly, a good experience and I’d go back.”

“Nestled in the corner next to the DeCicco Family Market in Katonah, NY is an unexpected pleasure called the Farmhouse Tavern. The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. Add Farmhouse Tavern to your list and sit at the bar and receive first class hospitality from Nick, a great bartender that never takes his eyes off your glass and provides heaps of hospitality on top. A lovely night out in Katonah!”

“An amazing restaurant to eat in at, good food and nice view of downtown and their pizzas are phenomenal, for some reason their fries are always either amazing or very lackluster but when they are amazing they are amazing, they have a good beverage selection but I feel that the restaurant could use a trim up.”

“A very homey and charming place to grab food with family or close friends. For apps I recommend the calamari and bruschetta. As a main dish the Snapper w/ mashed potatoes was also really great, but next time would try a pasta dish. Overall great service and super friendly waiters!”

“Another really great find in Mount Kisco, Westchester. A new Turkish, middle-eastern restaurant. We decided to visit using a Local Flavor promotion and are glad we did. My wife ordered the Moussaka. I ordered Adana. Both were incredibly delicious! Really, really delicious. (The Adana, was not as spicy as I've normally experienced. Still, superb.) The room is small. So, you may have to wait. We were there on a Tuesday which would normally be a slow day for most restaurants. But, soon, every table was filled and people were waiting. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The menu is a little bit "pricey." Many entrees are $20 and more. Still, I would encourage you to give this place a try.”
