“I’ve eaten multiple times at Our Kitchen and have always had a great experience - the food, staff, service and atmosphere have always been wonderful. However yesterday was the first time, we utilized (or attended) an event in their private room upstairs and I cannot say enough good things about it. We celebrated my 70th birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious (served family style and there was plenty of it!), the food and bar service was great, the room itself was perfect (a very nice room with lots of space for the kids to run around) and Melanie was so easy to work with! I highly recommend Our Place for lunch, dinner and in particular, for your private event!”

“It was so nice to come back to Himalaya after so many years! My first visit was in 2013 when I had just become vegetarian, and I returned again in 2017 as a new vegan. Now, as a 9-year vegan, I was excited to see that they still offer so many delicious vegan-friendly options.

I started with a red sangria, then the Steamed Veg Momos, which were fresh, handmade, and packed with a flavorful mix of vegetables. The Lasooni Gobi was perfectly crispy with a delicious Himalayan sauce.

For entrees, I ordered the Veg Thali, Tadka Dal, and the Veg Korma. The Veg Thali was a wonderful way to sample several classic dishes, the Tadka Dal was comforting and full of aromatic spices, and the Veg Korma was rich, creamy, and made with a dairy-free cashew-based sauce. I also enjoyed the paratha made without butter, which paired perfectly with the curries. It’s the best I’ve had!

Himalaya is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. The food is consistently flavorful, the staff is welcoming, and they do an excellent job accommodating vegan diners.

Whether you’re vegan or simply looking to try authentic Nepali cuisine, I highly recommend stopping by. I’m so glad I came back, and it definitely won’t be another several years before my next visit!”

I had an excellently crafted cappuccino and decided to try the gluten-free almond cookies (come in a package of 4). For those of you who are gluten-free or gluten sensitive, you know how difficult it is to find that perfectly delicious, made with love, delicacy. These are out of this world and have a full almond taste and are wonderfully chewy. We ordered their Sunday sauce with Meatball,sausage,spare rib, bracelets on rigatoni W/a dollop of Ricotta cheese. Couldn’t finish all of it took the rest home.
