“The kitchen is small, but the flavors are big at the Playhouse Cafe. It’s unbelievable what they are capable of creating — this is not your typical movie theater cafe. Great cocktails, a full coffee shop (my favorite place to work on the weekends while the kids catch a movie), the charcuterie board is fabulous, the muffaletta is my favorite sandwich. My kids love the tater tots and chicken fingers. Don’t miss the churro bites for dessert! Best of all — you never need a movie ticket to eat in the cafe, but if you are seeing a movie — you can bring your food/drinks into the theater. Sure beats regular popcorn!Also, trivia nights and live music are so fun — not to be missed!

“My family and I went to Truck for the second time with some of our relatives, and we loved it just as much as the first visit. The food was amazing, so filling but still so delicious! I ordered three tacos: fish, pork, and chicken. Even though I was full after the first one, they were so good that I couldn’t stop and ended up finishing all three! Therefore, I’d recommend not ordering too much at once. For dessert, we pretty much shared everything on the menu, and I loved every single one! There was even a chocolate dessert—which I usually don’t like—and I ended up loving it too. The service was excellent; our waitress was super friendly, greeted us warmly, and kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything! The atmosphere made it all even better: casual, lively, and perfect for a fun family dinner.”

“A wonderfully creative and delicious menu for this great out of the way Michelin Star. We did the 1hr+ drive and were very pleased by the beautiful location and excellent service. La Bastide and their upstair restaurant are perfect for 2 different kind of dining vibes that I would consider a revisit for. Their fishes and sauces were absolute standouts alongside an amazingly roasted duck and fun desserts.”

However yesterday was the first time, we utilized (or attended) an event in their private room upstairs and I cannot say enough good things about it. We celebrated my 70th birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious (served family style and there was plenty of it!), the food and bar service was great, the room itself was perfect (a very nice room with lots of space for the kids to run around) and Melanie was so easy to work with! I highly recommend Our Place for lunch, dinner and in particular, for your private event!”

These are out of this world and have a full almond taste and are wonderfully chewy. “The best pub I’ve been to outside of Britain, hands down. The hand drawn cask bitter is particularly good. Comes in proper imperial pint glasses filled to the brim. The food is authentic and high quality. I just wish this place was closer to home (about 40 mins away from me) and the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. Always good match on during weekends as well.”

“If you are looking for top-tier seafood in Westchester, La Mer Seafood is a local gem. It’s clear from the moment you walk in that they truly know their fish.

I stopped in for lunch and had an amazing Poke Bowl. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, vibrant, and perfectly prepared—easily one of the best lunch options in Armonk.
Beyond the prepared food, the service is what sets this place apart. The owner is a tremendous person who is clearly passionate about quality. He personally prepared and recommended the Ahi Tuna steaks for me, and they were spectacular.

Whether you are looking for a quick, healthy lunch or the highest-grade fresh fish to cook at home, I can’t recommend La Mer enough. Support this local business—you won’t be disappointed!”
