“If you ever want to impress your friends & family with your good taste, take them here! Ever since they opened, we've continually been returning to this awesome restaurant. Going with friends and/or family who haven't been before, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Straight-away, newcomers are impressed as they review the eclectic menu. We tell them, honestly - we've never had anything on the menu that we didn't LOVE. It was not unusual that, on this week's visit, our party of six couldn't make menu selections 'cause everything sounded so good. No problem, we simply "ordered for the table"! Ready for this - we ordered: 2 orders of Pulled Pork Sliders, 2 orders of Brie Stuffed Pretzels, Asador Corn, Watermelon Salad, 2 orders of Smoked Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, and Chinese Chicken Salad. OH MY, what a Scrumptious Feast! Not a morsel was left over! When the friendly, attentive waiter suggested dessert, some said, "I can't eat another thing!", and "oh, maybe tomorrow". I suggested, perhaps some very delicious iced cappuccinos, or an outrageous dessert drink. Everyone ordered something. I then said to our party, I think we need some accompaniments. My wife and I got the waiter on the side, explained we had a Birthday Gal at the table, and ordered an assorted dessert board for the table. Moments later, the board was presented with a glowing birthday sparkler and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Immediately, the signature Carrot Cake, Mexican Chocolate Covered Churros, Bourbon Glazed Donuts, Cheese Cake, and Vanilla Gelato began to be devoured. Nearby patrons could be heard saying, "We'll have what they're having!" It was another memorable, Great Time at Southern Table. Bravo to the Chef and Staff!“

Thomas the owner was very personable & yesterday since the waitress did not show up he had a multitude of jobs! Done to perfection!!! The food was delicious, made with lots of care! “Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

There are so many great and delicious choices between the specialty pizza slices, salads, and pasta and chicken dishes. Rocky and team has always gone above and beyond for us whenever we order out, dine in, cater for a party or host a party in the back. We've never had a bad meal here and highly recommend it.“

“Alright folks this is a diner. Americana level stuff that I take any of my international friends to experience part of the American dream whenever they’re in country here.

They have a massive menu and always speedy service. Don’t be afraid to wait. During peak times you and still get a table within 20 minutes or so.

I’d say it isn’t really the cheapest diner option - they know what they’ve got (lol). But you will leave satisfied and portions are humongous.

I recommend trying the onion rings with any of the wraps/sandwiches.

All of the dishes are excellent, and don’t be afraid to hit the classics.

“The kitchen is small, but the flavors are big at the Playhouse Cafe. It’s unbelievable what they are capable of creating — this is not your typical movie theater cafe. Great cocktails, a full coffee shop (my favorite place to work on the weekends while the kids catch a movie), the charcuterie board is fabulous, the muffaletta is my favorite sandwich. My kids love the tater tots and chicken fingers. Don’t miss the churro bites for dessert! Best of all — you never need a movie ticket to eat in the cafe, but if you are seeing a movie — you can bring your food/drinks into the theater. Sure beats regular popcorn!Also, trivia nights and live music are so fun — not to be missed!
