“The food was delicious, their French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had and my wife loved her salad. For dinner I had the ribeye, which had great aged flavor and my wife had the pasta special which she loved. On the negatives, the marrow bone in the soup was kind of cold so the marrow was like eating a hunk of cold butter. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was more medium, but everything was still delicious. The noise level was off the charts, it’s a busy bar and was as loud as a frat party, that was annoying.“

The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. Add Farmhouse Tavern to your list and sit at the bar and receive first class hospitality from Nick, a great bartender that never takes his eyes off your glass and provides heaps of hospitality on top. The service was excellent (I even shared our server that her aura was glowing). Since we were doing vegetarian that night, we had the spicy shrooms (flavorful, but a little too chewy for me). Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. “Awesome date night spot with amazing food and super lively vibe. Cool bar scene and main dining area has a fireplace. Our group shared a bunch of appetizers and starters (oysters and lobster cocktail). The Clam Chowder was great and refreshingly had an appropriate portion of clams. The Big Eye Tuna, which also has spicy shrimp over vegetable fried rice was incredible and cooked perfectly. No question I'll be back. Highly recommend.“

“I went over to the Garage to celebrate my friends birthday. There are old school arcade games that you and friends can enjoy while ordering drinks. The staff is really friendly and easy going, I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Brooklyn and you're looking for a good time.“

“Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Villagio. The restaurant was highly recomended to us by my wife's coworker. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly. We had a 6:30 reservation. The service from start to finish was warm, friendly and professional. We started with a crisp tender fried calamari and the roasted beet salad. So many times calamari is a hit or miss. This was an excellent version. The beet salad was tender, earthy and sweet. The crunchy pistacios and orange vinaigrette were a nice touch. My wife ordered Chicken Millanese and I ordered Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were excellent. The chicken was crisp and tender. The arrugula was peppery with a drizzle of lemon and virgin olive oil. Great balance. The Gnocchi was a great choice as there was a chill in the air. My definition of comfort food. Recently I have notice some resturants are going with a cheaper grated cheese, not Il Villagio. The Peccorino was perfectly salty and sharp. During our meal several people came over to check on us including the owner. I told he should be very proud of his staff. This restaurant is doing a great job. The provide quality service, excellent food and a warm friendly staff. It was a 25-30 drive for us. A drive I will be doing again real soon. Thank you to all“

“The steak is one of the best in the area, and best in Putnam county for sure. The salad that accompanied the meal was large and fresh. It appears that they re-heat the items that are served with the dinner, such as the twice baked potatoes and crab cake that was on the Char Steak Oscar, however the sauce was delicious. As for the atmosphere, it is great looking restaurant with a fantastic bar, but there is an unusual smell when you enter the restaurant.“

Professional friendly staff, nice decor with art the pays homage to the local Westchester area, and the food is delicious. This place definitely has its "regulars", but I've never felt unwelcome. “The food was great. I ordered the pork chop with spinach and roasted potatoes. The food came out hot just the way I like it. My friend ordered the chicken Mona Lisa. I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. When Norca doesn't work I don't show up and neither does my friends. Very nice decor comfortable atmosphere great vibes all the way around. The pizza is also great too. “i’ve been trying to go to this place for a while and I decided to go last night. The food was good. The service was so fast. I didn’t like the drinks we ordered and an orange margarita and it was not tasty at allthe place was packed at 8:30 pm. The atmosphere was really enjoyable as well.“

We had the enchilada which came with rice and beans, fish and shrimp tacos which were stellar, Mexican corn which was off the Cobb served in a bowl which I thought was genius, and churros which were hot and came with caramel and chocolate sauce. My kids had the passion fruit and horchata agua frescas. If you are in the neighborhood it is worth stopping by for lunch or dinner - I will definitely be going back!“

“I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“

“I always love the food here. So delicious and so reasonable for the quality. The only thing that can be improved is the ambiance. Why are white Christmas lights blinking in the windows at the end of January? I wish they would update the interior of the restaurant to give it a less dated look to match the oh SO delicious food. I'll still make reservations there, but hope they plan a remodel in the near future.“

“Had dinner here with my fiancé. Has become my favorite place. The drinks were just right, very authentic and not too sweet. The food was immaculate. Service was awesome and the ambiance as well. This was quite the experience. I will definitely be back.“

“Stopped by wood and fire this afternoon for an early lunch. We’ve been several times and I always get the brook street pizza with no mozzarella cheese (I can’t eat it) so I’m always excited for a thick crust pizza with lots of sauce, no moz, and pepperoni. It’s so good! (I’m sure it is with the cheese too!). My bf usually switches it up and got the picante this time and said it was really good. We got a side of truffle fries and they were delicious. This time I also ordered the wood and fire brownie and it did not disappoint. It’s easily enough for 2 people and it was so good with the brûlée bananas and gelato. I would definitely get it again.The staff is nice and the inside is really cozy. They have an inclosed ‘outdoor’ area that I’m guessing is more open when it’s warmer. They have a small parking lot in the front with some extra spots in the back. Looking forward to my next trip back!“
