If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“Focus Immunity was playing tonight. Great cover band. Great sound too. Often places have muddy sound, but this really good. Vocals awesome. Band great over all. Nod to the drummer, though everyone was outstanding .

Service was great as was the food. A good sized crowd, (my age group 40+) though not to busy. Nice look and feel, great place to take the family or what have you.“

Wings were perfect hickory sauce, so good I scraped the plate with the carrots and celery! Salad made w/ greens vs. Iceberg. The dill vinegrette complements the salad. My pan seared scallops with jasmine rice and asparagus was a delight! Not skimping on the portion > 9!!!! My family enjoyed thier entrees also.“

With Italian obviously out, I looked for something to contrast. The corned beef spring rolls caught my attention, as did the shepherd's pie. Great menu. wine, beer and after dinner drinks selection. The service was impeccable and friendly. The Manager and Sommelier (Emilio) was wonderful and made fabulous recommendations. We live in NYC and took the Metro North just to try the restaurant. We had been there before for drinks with family and decided we needed to return for the food. The setting is perfect, about a minute walk from the train station and right along the Hudson River. We took a stroll on the river waterfront after dinner and watched the stars pop up as it got darker. Perfect!“
