RiverMarket is beautiful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The group had the lobster roll, veggie burger, and club sandwich all meals were delectable! Would definitely go back again!
One of my favorite restaurants when I am visiting Tarrytown. The food is delicious and the portions are large. The waitstaff are always attentive and accommodating especially with me needing Vegan options. Highly recommend.

RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen is a waterfront restaurant that offers a variety of dining experiences. The location is beautiful, with outdoor seating available when the weather permits and a quick walk to the Riverwalk, making it an attractive spot for visitors. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, with inside seating being a little dark but pleasant, and the bathrooms are notably very clean.
The menu features a range of options, including sashimi, tiger shrimp scampi, a burger, steak sandwich, and meatballs with garlic spinach. Several dishes are praised for their flavor and quality, especially the meatballs, garlic spinach, and the steak & eggs, which was cooked perfectly mid-rare. The chocolate croissant bread pudding is also highlighted as an excellent dessert. A bartender named Nech received compliments for serving a unique, tasty coffee drink that was both strong and enjoyable.
Service experiences vary. Some guests found the staff to be kind, attentive, and helpful, with one server described as "awesome" and interactions with locals being friendly. However, during busy times such as Mother’s Day, service can suffer; guests experienced long waits for entrees, and the atmosphere became tense, with some frustration and even a verbal confrontation. Despite this, the owner was attentive and generously offered to compensate part of the bill, and the food was consistently praised for its deliciousness.
Overall, RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen has great potential with its prime location, good atmosphere, and tasty food. Improvements in service and quality control could elevate it to a top-tier dining destination.
