The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable.

Was just visiting the area and we were very fortunate to find The Tapp. Small really cute establishment. We ordered an October fest burger, a bowl of chilli and quesadilla with chicken. It was all very yummy. Our bartender/waitress/hostess Sara was incredibly nice.
I didn't eat here but the staff were friendly and they had a good selection of beers on tap!

The Tapp features a sports bar vibe with a small but underrated food menu, including the BEST fries in Tarrytown—always served hot. The onion pizza is out of this world delicious, and the spicy chicken sando is a hit. The bar has a loud, divey atmosphere with high-top tables and a compact seating area. While the beer selection is good, the space can fill up quickly. Service may be slow when busy, but the staff tries their best. The wings are juicy with great flavor, and the cauliflower is tasty, though the bang bang sauce could be improved. Cocktails are delicious, and the late-night crowd keeps the place lively. With its cute decorations and Halloween vibes, it’s a spot worth visiting again and again.
