We were up in Ossining for the Weir Tour sponsored by Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct. Ossining is a very cute little town right on the river. In the town square, this restaurant stood out for its European vibe. Inside, people really were using Portuguese a lot, and Portuguese CNN was on the television. These guys are legit. I have been coming here since 2009 and Abel,Jorge and the girls always received me and my family very well. The ambience and the delicious food is the closest you get from Portugal. I definitely love come here with my family. Thank you all!

Looking for authentic Portuguese food? Allow me to recommend Docas for you...you cant go wrong with their entrees of either meats or seafood...grilled branzini is excellent...on Saturdays they have dobrada, which translates to tripe...and if you find their Osso Bucco on Sundays, you HAVE to get it...homemade desserts and great place to chat a soccer game...or just "hear" Portuguese ppl be...Portuguese
